  1. Yeah tried that too. Honestly I have no idea. I wouldn't imagine it does have anything to do with it but I have no idea what else changed in the last 3 days
  2. I tried it and got black screen with no visuals no change after 20 minutes. I am confused.
  3. Heyo everyone, Gpu: msi rx 570 Cpu:Ryzen 5 5600x Mobo:B550 gaming edge wifi Psu: Thermaltake smart 700W Ever since I upgraded to windows 11 I haven't been able to boot into bios/uefi. 1. I disabled fast boot in power settings 2. Held shift while restarted 3.Tried advanced booting from recovery in settings and wouldn't show up 4. Completed the circuit on my mobo while no power 5. Took out C-battery for 10 minutes And none of these worked. Everything I look up says those exact tips over and over. I'd rather not reset my pc but if it can't be helped Any and all info helps! Thanks!
  4. So I'm guessing I found the problem. My PC didn't boot with one of the sticks, so I'm guessing that one is faulty..
  5. When I pulled out 1 stick and booted with it, it said that I still had 8GB even though I only had 4 GB in. I'll try with the other stick to see if it boots.
  6. Yeah I shut it down completely before switching. I believe I've tried 2 and 4 but I will try it again. Thanks for the help so far!
  7. Okay so I tried that I pulled both sticks out and I put them in the correct spots of 1 and 2 and rebooted and it's still telling me 4/8 GB
  8. I checked the manual and it doesn't say which mods to place them in. I can try and removing them and switching them around.
  9. I was going to try and play No Man's Sky Multiplayer
  10. Hello So the other day I tried playing a game and it told me I had to have a recommend 8GB of Ram. I sat there confused for a second I have 2x4GB RAM is my computer, why is it saying I only have access to half of it? I did research I tried a lot of fixes and nothing worked. I tried going in MSConfig and making sure that "maximum memory" was unchecked, I switched my ram placement in my PC I tested both sticks, I tried editing the Voltage for my DRAM and CPU as well. I'm worried that my GPU is causing the hardware reservation. Whenever I go into Task Manager and click performance and memory it's now telling me I have "9.0/11.4 GB" I don't know if that's because I tried switching the placement of my RAM. Anyone have any thoughts or tips? Thank you in advance. CPU: Ryzen 3 1300X GPU: RX 460 4GB PSU: TR2 430W MB: GIGABYTE GA-AB350-GAMING 3 RAM: GeIL EVO SPEAR 8GB (2 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400
  11. Okay so my motherboard is GIGABYTE GA-AB350-Gaming 3. Here is what it says about supported memory. 4 x DDR4 DIMM sockets supporting up to 64 GB of system memory * Due to a Windows 32-bit operating system limitation, when more than 4 GB of physical memory is installed, the actual memory size displayed will be less than the size of the physical memory installed. Dual channel memory architecture Support for DDR4 3200(O.C.)/2933(O.C.)/2667*/2400/2133 MHz memory modules * Support for higher than DDR4 2667 MHz may vary by CPU. Support for ECC Un-buffered DIMM 1Rx8/2Rx8 memory modules (operate in non-ECC mode) Support for non-ECC Un-buffered DIMM 1Rx8/2Rx8/1Rx16 memory modules Support for Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) memory modules
  12. Hey everyone, so I was wondering if anybody knew where to get some cheap DDR4 Ryzen compatible ram. I am looking for it, as cheap as possible but as long as it's DDR4 over 1900 Ghz. Thank you for any help.
  13. I am just wondering why I shouldn't use the TR2? The only reason I am using it is because it's already in my current PC. Same situation with my Graphics card. It's already in my PC.
