  1. Unfortunately the motherboard doesn't have a PS/2 port
  2. I'll try that, but the mouse works just fine in the same slot, while keyboards don't work in any slots
  3. Hey, I've been setting up a Windows XP machine for some legacy software I have to use for a project. I had it working perfectly, then I had to leave for a week, when I came back and turned it on I found that the keyboard doesn't work anymore. The keyboard works on my Win10 machine and other keyboards don't work with the XP. The only time the keyboard does work however is in the bios. The machine is a stock Dell Dimension 3100 that I pulled out of my grandma's basement. Any ideas on what to do?
  4. So, I contacted Microsoft Customer Support with a Windows Store problem, the first person worked with me for about 10 minutes before deciding I needed to revert to my last restore point, I don't have any restore points.... so she decided that I needed to install Windows 10 version 1703 straight from an ISO. When I asked her why she said, "Your computer hardware is not compatible with Windows 10 Version 1709, so we need to reset to Version 1703, which your system is compatible with." this sounded like bull to me so I pressed, asking why it's incompatible. she responded with "All Asus motherboards are incompatible with Windows 10 Version 1709, this is a known issue with many boards and we have contacted Asus with this issue." I quickly asked to speak with someone else and she sent me to a tier 2 guy who did some bippity boppity stuff with remote controlling and got the Windows Store working, but I was curious about this "Asus issue" I did a quick google search, nothing really came up, so I was wondering if any of you have ever heard of this kind of thing.
