  1. But on this website I cannot filter monitors with parametr Direct led backlight :-/ I know that this website have all monitors what's are on market. But I not know which monitors have all these specs. Mainly Direct backlight information is very hard find. :-(
  2. Guys, know someone, which monitors on market have these specs? * IPS * 8bit or 8bit+FRC (not 6bit or 6bit+FRC) * Direct backlight (not Edge backlight) * Flicker free, without any PWM blinking * Minimal one HDMI and one DisplayPort * Size 27 inches (not smaller) We need find monitors with these specs.
  3. Biggest czech republic store with electronic alza.cz help me with my decision, wrote me information about new lg monitors 2018. Into Czech Republic go in next few days these two new LG 27 inch 4K monitors with HDR10 :-) yea, so I wait few days and after I go immediately buy it. 27UK650-W http://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-27UK650-W-4k-uhd-led-monitor 27UK850-W http://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-27UK850-W-4k-uhd-led-monitor
  4. Hm when I created filter of all 27 inch UHD LG monitors so now LG sell these types: Select one monitor from 27 inch LG monitors will be easy, this I mean into this time, but it was mistake grrr 27" LG 27UD88-W = 13.790,- aka 664$ LG 27UD69-W = 12.790,- aka 616$ LG 27UD68-W = 11.690,- aka 563$ 27" LG 27UD68P-B = 12.816,- aka 617$ LG 27UD69P = 13.309,- aka 641$ LG 27UD69 = 11.336,- aka 546$ LG 27UD59P = 14.290,- aka 688$ LG 27UD59 = 9.490,- aka 457$ LG 27UD58 = 10.290,- aka 496$
  5. What's the better choice? LG 27UD69 or LG 27UD88 In my country have these monitors these prices. 27" LG 27UD69 = 11.300 Kč it's 544$, in my country is this monitor from 12. 10. 2017 (this monitor is little newer, so is maybe "better" panel? but on web displayspecifications are all specs same when I add both monitors into compare) 27" LG 27UD88-W = 13.700 kč it's 670$, in my country is this monitor from 3. 8. 2016 Version 24UD88 have additional USB hub with 2x USB3 and 1x USB-C which can delivery power for notebook into 60W. Worth this function for additional +126$? EDIT: so now call me man from store (because I ask him on stand in both monitors) and version UD69 in my country for this price is without "-P" on end, so 27UD69 version cannot move on side or up and down. So this is maybe why is price lower :-/ And now immediatly looks 27UD88-W little (but really only little) better than before (now haven't more only usb ports but better stand). Ah god why lg not create monitor what have all and must release so many models here is my older thread about monitors
  6. Guys only edit, now one man on different forum give me tip and looks as really good tip for best pickup for my bucks :-) He sayd, if you want 27 inch LG from LG top line, and not need type-c port so not buy for 13500kč 27ud88 BUT 27ud68 or 27ud69. Now these monitors cost in my country: 27ud68 = 12.800 kč it's 617$ 27ud69 = 11.300 Kč it's 544$ 27ud88 = 13.700 kč it's 670$ Panel is from his information same, so if someone as I not need USB hub or USB C directly in monitor so I can save around 126 dollars :-) And this looks great. WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT THIS? switch from "LG 27UD88" to "LG 27UD69"? for any information thanks
  7. But I prefer (for low cost) FullHD resolution. Or if man want spent more money so True 4K. This is why I select these monitors. Today I create choice that I must select from one of these monitors: https://www.alza.cz/porovnani.htm?c=WK060a1h9f;WK060a1h9e2;WK060a1h9c3;WK060a1h9ik;ADL27p12;WT153e0p; 32" LG 32UD89 = 1 281,94 $ 27" LG 27UD88-W = 670,138 $ 27" LG 27UD69 = 546,524 $ 27" LG 27UD59-W = 451,403 $ 27" LG 27BK750Y = 403,818 $ 27" Dell P2717H Professional = 312,602 $ 27" BenQ GW2780 = 256,82 $ First time I bought Dell but few hours after I change my choice and now winning LG 27UD88 :-) For true 4k I prefer 32 inch but this monitor in 32 inch cost in my country 2x twice more than variant with 27 inch. And I mean that this diferent is not so big for price around twice more. Now is in my country discount in alza.cz for LG 27UD88 from +- 16500,-Kč to 13400,-Kč ---> it's from discount 765$ to 646$ And I mean that for 646 dolars have realy very good AH-IPS True 4K IPS display with 10bit panel (true 8bit with frc to 10bit, and 30bit colors as say web https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/826861f And this is why I change my decision, so I left 27" Dell P2717H Professional in store, and tomorrow I buy 27" LG 27UD88-W OFC: best when I bought 32" LG 32UD89 because I mean that for 4kk is best size 32 inch, but this monitoc cost twice more than 27 inch version. And I always want the best for my money, 5 inch more yes I know, but for twice price. So if I want spent so many money, so is better bought 2x 27 inch :-/ What do you guys think about this view of the thing? EDIT: but I still fear, that very soon LG release new versions of these highend monitors with NanoIPS with support HDR600 only for little higher price and what after I If can someone know release day of these monitors so I can wait, or if someone know +- price. But all these informations still aren't on internet. EDIT2: maybe one monitor can beat my selection, and it is 27" LG 27UD69, this monitor have good specifications same as 27" LG 27UD88-W, only about few things is worse. so on first look is it better for bucks pickup / but different is so small between these two monitors and when someone want spent around +- 600 dolars for monitor so this price different isn't so huge (versus price diferent than 27UD88 vs 32UD89, where is different twice more), I mean, what. 27UD68 is from informations on internet similar as 27UD88 with same panel etc., but different is that 68 havent USB Type-C and havent USB Hub. EDIT3: And yea, for people which love ultrawide screen monitors, so ye for low price exist here some good IPS widescreen monitors as "LG 34UM68 vs LG 34UM69G vs LG 34UC79G" what have very low price and are 34 inch, maybe one big minus is resolution only 2560x1080. But when must some change my head and start search in these monitors as for example gameing, so here is one problem, with these monitors for gaming is bez on end 79G with 144hz but this monitor is discont. and in my country not exist any shop what have it in store. And Newer version cose again around +- 980$ and it is LG 34UC89G with GSync :-D but here is problem that I have AMD Radeon Vega so I always prefer freesync so bad for me.
  8. Guys what is better pickup in this time? In comparison price versus quality? Dell P2717H Low cost 27 inch Dell what have "only" FullHD, but others specs are good (2x usb2 2x usb3 pivot HDMI DisplayPort VGA etc.) Price in my county now around 300$ https://www.alza.cz/27-dell-p2717h-professional-d4268302.htm LG 27UD88-W Or higher price for 27 inch LG 27UD88-W what haven't FullHD but 4K (but others specs are +- same, 2x usb3 1x usb-c pivot HDMI DisplayPort etc.) In my country cost now around 660$ https://www.alza.cz/27-lg-27ud88-w-d4292311.htm LG 32UD89 Or for highest price LG 32UD89 what is similar monitor as previous LG but this have 32 inch, not only 27 inch. In my country cost now around 1260$ https://www.alza.cz/32-lg-32ud89-d4721852.htm In my eyes looks as best for bucks first 27"Dell, after 27"LG and last 32"LG. But what I know, and this is why ask here, if can say someone some tips so big thanks. :-) I little fear, that last monitor 32inch LG, that price is around twice more and have it only different in size (from 27 to 32 inch) and I not know if is this good reason for twice price (but I never own 4k and now I not know if 27 inch isn't so small for this high resolution). And mainly, now I only little fear if is now good time to buy 4k monitor with higher price when LG on CES2018 release new monitors in this series with NanoIPS. Maybe after really small time when these monitors reach market, so this older versions drop from price. Have someone good informations about this, or tips etc.?
  9. Or if now isn't good time for buy true 4k ips panel, what I know, bad situation on market - so I can buy fullhd monitor for small price and wait on future. I don't know how it looks now on the display market. And buy 4k with lower than 32inch is in my eyes not good conclusion So if I bought 4k so must be minimal 30inch or more. Now I live with Samsung 24inch qdot display with 144hz. For games good but VA isn't really good in my eyes and for work I need little bigger. This is why I select 32 inch. And in 32 inch people can find really good FullHD monitor with perfect price, 4k cost around 2x or 3x more. I haven't problem with money, but I not know if is now good time. Maybe yes maybe not EDIT: this is first monitor with lowest price what have maybe all my specs: 27" LG 27UD88-W But here is one problem, size only 27 inch :-/ and this looks in my eyes as small :-( When will have 32inch so it will be best for me. :-) But as higher size exist after 27UD88W only 32" LG 32UD89 but this monitor cost twice as 27UD88W :-/
  10. I mean that monitors with these specs exist in higher price range. For example, if exist monitor with these specifications for 1000$ and 2000$, so why pickup second monitor for 2000$ if is only minimal better than piece what have price 1000$. This I mean. Good price in proportion price / performance / parameters. In this my thread I try found answer if buy standart low price cost monitor (ips with fullhd and usb) or higher price (ahva with 4k and usb). But now when I can spent any money what I can so I create this my second thread where I trying found monitor what have all specs what I prefer :-)
  11. Guys exist in these days in market some good monitor with good price, what have these specifications? * 32 inch =< * True 4K 3840×2160 =< * IPS (not VA) * Direct LED Backlight (not Edge LED Backlight) ** if will have monitor USB3 connector so it will be bonus Because I prefer true 4k resolution (not 1920x1080, 2560x1080, etc.) so refresh rate must be 60hz :-/ because in this time not exist 144hz with true 4k. But if exist some true 4k with for example max refreshrate 75hz, so this will be better - but ofcorse if monitor with 75hz will be cost for example 1400$ and with 60hz only 700$ so I always pickup 60hz. Monitor will be on 75% time as working monitor, and only sometimes on playing normal games.
  12. Hm .. I know that difference between these two monitors is big :-/ If I can select really what I want so I prefer these specifications: * 32 inch =< * True 4K 3840×2160 =< * IPS (not VA) * Direct LED Backlight (not only Edge LED Backlight) But in my country is only few monitors with these specifications :-( I create thread with these specs, so if someone give tip on good monitor with good price with these specifications so I can change my desition.
  13. Hi guys, I need help with decision about new monitor. I looked last few days on so many monitors, and I create conclusion, that best are these two monitors, 27" Dell P2717H or 32" BenQ PD3200U. These monitors are in my country the best in their class versus price and versus functions and quality. I mean. 27 inch Dell have in all 27 inch monitors best comparsion in quality/price/connectors/colors/etc https://www.alza.cz/27-dell-p2717h-professional-d4268302.htm 32 inch Benq have in all 32 inch monitors best comparsion in quality/price/connectors/colors/etc https://www.alza.cz/32-benq-pd3200u-d4616237.htm Between these two monitors exist three big differents: 1. size in inch: 27 vs 32 2. resolution: IPS FullHD 8bit vs AHVA 4K 10bit (8bit + FRC dithering) 3. price: in czech krounds is it Dell for +- 6500kč and Benq +- 19500kč (in dollars is it around Dell 312$ Benq 934$) I want ask, if worth buy Benq over Dell, if price is 3x more, or is better pickup Dell and in future buy maybe second or third piece monitor? Anyone who give some good tips, or good reason why this or this, thanks. (but personally I must say, that into this time I always love more IPS rather than VA etc.)
