the one i bought looks same and it promises speed of upto 150 MBps but i only get around 22 to 25 MBps. so i was wondering if it was driver related problem. please clarify me that would chip genius show a 3.0 flash drive as 2.0 protocol because of any driver isuues or not. so, that i would be able to decide to invest any more time in this issue or not. thanks

so you mean this is actually 2.0 flash drive but was labeled as 3.0. i wonder why they do that

ya i guess so else why would chip genius show protocol as 2.0 even if it was some driver related problem would you make yourself clearer, actually i couldnt get your point

i purchased a flash drive from a brick store assuming it is 3.0 but it is operating in speeds of 2.0. i checked flash drive details using chip genius and it shows protocol as 2.0(what). im 100% sure that im using the flash drive in usb 3.0 port. i just wanted to know that if this might be the fault of drivers or something else before i go and kick the sellers ass. i suspect that the drive actually is 2.0 but was sold with label of 3.0(fake drives). note: os: windows 10 flash drive: SAMSUNG USB 3.0 Flash Drive BAR 32GB(at least it looks alike)
