  1. the one i bought looks same and it promises speed of upto 150 MBps but i only get around 22 to 25 MBps. so i was wondering if it was driver related problem. please clarify me that would chip genius show a 3.0 flash drive as 2.0 protocol because of any driver isuues or not. so, that i would be able to decide to invest any more time in this issue or not. thanks

  3. so you mean this is actually 2.0 flash drive but was labeled as 3.0. i wonder why they do that
  4. ya i guess so else why would chip genius show protocol as 2.0 even if it was some driver related problem would you make yourself clearer, actually i couldnt get your point
  5. i purchased a flash drive from a brick store assuming it is 3.0 but it is operating in speeds of 2.0. i checked flash drive details using chip genius and it shows protocol as 2.0(what). im 100% sure that im using the flash drive in usb 3.0 port. i just wanted to know that if this might be the fault of drivers or something else before i go and kick the sellers ass. i suspect that the drive actually is 2.0 but was sold with label of 3.0(fake drives). note: os: windows 10 flash drive: SAMSUNG USB 3.0 Flash Drive BAR 32GB(at least it looks alike)
