  1. I believe it has something to do with iCue. i was messing around with it and noticed that the issue resolved itself once I deleted the actions/macros that I stored in the action library. It's very weird, but deleting all of it fixed the problem for me.
  2. That does fit the description, but it looks too "gamer" if ya know what I mean. I've edited the requirements. Macros keys aren't essential, but RGB, cherry MX blue/brown, media keys and a numpad are. The Ducky Shine 7 Blackout is the closest thing to what I want. If it just had better media controls. https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=4332 Edit: Actually, the DAS 4 keyboard is the closest thing to what I want. It simply doesn't have RGB lighting. https://www.daskeyboard.com/daskeyboard-4-professional/
  3. So i've been using the Corsair K95 for a couple of years now and it's starting to act funky (sometimes types a letter two times and any macro I've set to the G buttons can be activated by pressing any of the top F buttons i.e. F1. F2 etc). So basically I'm looking to buy an alternative and would like some help as I haven't looked at any mechanical keyboards since I bought the K95. Here are some requirements: Would be nice with *ONE* row of macro keys on the side. Preferably not more than one row but I don't mind if that's the case. Macros keys not absolutely necessary in the end. Must have RGB lighting. Must be Cherry MX blue or brown. Must have media keys like the K95. Must have a numpad, but not absolutely necessary. Thanks in advance. Edit: I would buy the new K95 RGB Platinum if it weren't for the horrifyingly ugly font used for the keys.
  4. Found out that the CPU itself wasn't the problem. When gaming I would get an insane amount of noise, but I found out it was because one of my cables was slightly touching one of the three GPU fans and therefore it couldn't move and the other two fans went full speed. Moved the cable and tested it by gaming for 2 hours. No problems.
  5. I recently build my first PC and the process was smooth. However, there's a small issue with the CPU fan going at ridiculous speeds even though it shouldn't. The games I play aren't very demanding and my CPU never goes over 40 degrees celsius when I game, so it seems a bit weird to me that my CPU fan goes up to 1300 RPM and often 2700 RPM. I'm using the AMD Ryzen 1700 with the stock cooler and the Asus ROG Strix B350-F motherboard. I've tried manually setting the fan speed curve in BIOS to go to full speed when it's 60 degrees celsius or above (otherwise only at 35% of max speed when under). It doesn't seem to work though. I have to restart my PC in order to fix this. Is there a way to control the fans manually while you're in Windows? I can't turn off my PC every time this happens (and it happens every time I game).
  6. @Eduard the weeb That's what I said, but people here insisted that it would fit. TVwazhere said that Luke made it work by moving one of the front fans, so I'll wait for Luke to release his video and I'll see for myself if it's possible. Also, for some reason people keep telling me the Strix 1080 Ti will fit. I don't get why though since it's shorter than the Trio, so obviously it's going to fit (298 mm compared to 325 mm with the Trio). Like I said in the original post, I'm trying to find out what the standard thickness is for a fan. I heard somewhere it's 25 mm, but that there also exist fans that are 38 mm. I'm not sure what size my fans are, it's the BeQuiet! SilentWings 3 140 mm fans. I think they're 25 mm, which means I should be able to fit the Trio if I remove that fan (that way I'll have 340 mm room). I just need to confirm this by looking at the video Luke's going to post on YT soon-ish.
  7. Is that video going to be posted on the official linus channel or?
  8. I've heard great things about the Meshify C. It's not an expensive case by any means and it has great airflow plus a tempered glass side panel. You can watch Gamer Nexus' review here:
  9. Sweet. This is great news. Could you perhaps link that video? There's one thing left that I'm kind of skeptic about. Do you think there will be some sort of heating issue if I have the fan moved upwards? Will the card even get any air from below? Do you perhaps have a video or a picture of the Strix 1080 Ti fitting into the Meshify C? Not that I don't believe you, but actually seeing it would give me peace of mind.
  10. The reason I'm asking is because the card is a bit longer than a lot of the other 1080 Ti cards. It's 325mm according to MSI themselves and according to the product specification for the Meshify C, the case supports a 315mm video card WITH a fan mounted. So if what you're saying is correct then I could perhaps mount the fan on the outside instead of the inside and that way get enough room for the card. You sure it's possible to do this? I've asked some other people as well and they say it's not possible to mount fans outside and if you could you'd "break the fans". Is there perhaps a case that has good airflow like the meshify c, but is a bit bigger? I really want this specific card.
  11. I'm building my first PC and the MSI 1080 Ti Trio caught my eye. It's beautiful and I've heard great things about it. Here's my current build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/dank-dumbledorf/saved/xsssJx (disregard the fact that the GPU is something other than the trio, I couldn't find the trio on PCPP). Anyway, I'm planning on buying the Meshify C as I've heard it has great airflow. The problem is though that I don't know if it'll fit in the case. I am getting two 140mm bequiet! SilentWings 3 fans on the front of the case and one 120mm fan from the same company at the back. If you think the card won't fit in there, do you perhaps know of any other cases (that are a little bit bigger and will fit everything) that have as good or almost as good of an airflow as the meshify C?. Also, kind of unrelated, but what do you think about the PSU? Is it good? Should I get some other PSU or will this one be fine?
  12. I'm getting the "ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO" mobo, supposedly it's really good. Also getting 3200 MHz C14 RAM because I heard the ryzen 1700 handles that very well.
