  1. I've never had any luck doing this on my isp provided router and am too cheap/broke to buy a new one.
  2. Hi all. I have a Buffalo NAS drive that I use to back up my Steam games using Steams inbuilt backup feature. My problem is that 70-80% of the time my NAS' mapped drive letter L: doesn't show up in the drop-down box of available drive letters, even though it's working fine and is usable via windows. Occasionally it shows up, but not often at all, and not reliably. I've been battling with this for months on and off and it is really starting to drive me to distraction. Thanks in advance.
  3. Yeah, the L drive doesn't show up there either. Annoying because it did not that long ago.
  4. Hi I recently bought a Buffalo Nas drive which I'm very happy with. A little while ago I backed up some Steam games to it using Steams inbuilt backup utility, but now when I go to restore a game from backup the NAS' drive letter (L) doesn't show up anywhere in Steam. It shows up in Windows fine. I've unmapped and remapped the network drive, run Steam as admin, restarted my pc, disconnected my VPN, all the usual things, but nothing. The drive doesn't exist as far as Steam is concerned. Any ideas/tips greatly appreciated.
  5. Oh, that's a thought, I haven't played that in a long while.
  6. I'm finding myself really missing playing The Settlers (classic games of my youth) and am really wishing that they'd release a new one that I could play while taking advantage of my brand new shiny GTX 1060. Can any kind soul recommend a game in a similar vein? I'm just really missing playing the old strategy games of my childhood, and want something modern that scratched the same itch. Cheer guys.
