  1. Hello, my girlfriend recently got her hands on some Sony WH-XB910N headphones and sometimes she issues them on her (2017?) MacBook Air. However things have not been very easy as we’ve encountered an issue we cannot find anywhere else. Whenever she uses the headphones she has to open the settings, go to audio, and then to input to hear sound from the MacBook. What I assume is supposed to happen is she’s supposed to hear her microphone playback through the speakers to test the mic, however instead of that happening, she is actually able to hear the audio output, but it’s much lower quality than it should be. This only happens on hee MacBook, tested on other MacBooks and laptops and this problem doesn’t happen at all. I cannot find a solution to this problem, and my last idea left is to hard reset the MacBook. but she’s not very tech savvy so doing that will take a day or two. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
  2. I've had the process priority set to high, and the problem still persist, although i did try x264 and although i've had zero frame drops, the stuttering still persist on the video.
  3. The h264 codec is a CPU encoding codec right? I thought h265 was the only one that used GPU.
  4. Yes, that is a fair idea and it works just fine, but the problem is I wanted to use obs' plugins to get rid of fan noise which is quite annoying.
  5. Hello guys, i've been trying to get OBS to record 1080p 30fps for the past 3 weeks and every time i do the video is always stuttering, but my game is running a perfect 60 fps, my resolution is also 1080p. My CPU usage averages when recording around 35-40 percent and I have a Ryzen 1500x. OBS says its using 5-10% when recording but but its the video stutters a lot. Im using h264 AMD encoder while using the YouTube preset at balanced quality. My bitrate is 9000 and I dont understand what could be wrong. ~thanks in advance, Krayon. here are my specs Windows 10 Home 64-bit 16.0GB Dual-Channel 3000MHz 4096MB ATI Radeon RX 460 Graphics AMD Ryzen 5 1500X 931GB TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 (holds operating system and applications) 2794GB TOSHIBA DT01ACA300 (holds games and recordings)
  6. Woops! Sorry! I knew I would mess it up somehow! Thanks!
  7. I just kinda got on my PC a week or two ago, and tried my usual 8 hour recording session, and realized that they were all really fuzzy, choppy, and the audio was terrible, hasn't been fixed since.
  8. The last time my drives were defragmented was a week ago,and they are both at 1% fragmentation. My encoding settings are usually 9-11mbs and it's i used to do 30mbs just fine, i use h.264 (amd) and h.265 (amd) and have the same result All my games are affected by this problem, and get worse with CPU usage, even when dropping resolution. My CPU and GPU temps both stay between 50-68 Celsius And i have tried, AMD ReLive, Xbox recording, OBS, Fraps, Bandicam, and Dxtory, all having the same problem And all my hardrives have about half of their space left, but i specifically record with the 3TB, which also has the 20mbs higher write speed.
  9. I don't know why this is happening, but lately I haven't been able to record videos anymore. I try but i get random freezing and bad quality, as well as audio hang every now and then. I didn't have this problem a while back, and this just started happening. I will run 60 FPS, and record at 30 FPS, but there's so much freezing and stuttering in the recording it doesn't look like or run in 30 FPS. I've tried a number of number of recording softwares, i've also tried GPU and CPU encoding (h.265 and h.264) and I get the same results.
