  1. So, while opening up my GS75-10SFS model to repaste it, (It was a little annoying but fun because the board was reversed, I had to take the whole motherboard out) I found out that the CPU had some kind of extra layer over the actual PCB. It seems to have a cutout for the die along with some gold traces. It also seems to be sealed pretty tight along where the die meets the extra layer. Do you guys think that it would be safe for liquid metal-ing? (of course covering with a layer of conformal coating)
  2. So currently, I'm debating on which of these headsets I should buy. They both seem like they would be good, but I heard that the Virtuoso has some comfort issues. Can you guys give me your thoughts on this?
  3. Guys so i've just finished installing the older geforce game ready drivers, and IT WORKS. The driver somehow made my GPU go adolf hiter.
  4. I unplugged and plugging in the wires in my laptop and restarted it. Still same results, I booted into the EVGA SC17 Bios and it showed that my GPU is at about 1400MHz, wierd right? I cant go and send the laptop due to there being no EVGA shops in my country, since this is a laptop i ordered on amazon and had a relative bring it over. The only thing to do now is to download and install old drivers
  5. Hi! Recently my Laptop has been acting weird, specifically its GPU. The 1070's clock speed started to fluctuate fast between 600<MHz and 1400MHz. I reinstalled the drivers to the latest version, now it is stuck at 139-250MHz, sometimes it will go to 658MHz. My performance in games has gone down a lot too. The power consumption is at .581v to .688v Please tell me what is wrong. My current driver version is version 388.13 which is the latest at this time Update: In GPU-z I looked at the sensors section, in PerfCap Reason it says Pwr, which means that there is a problem with my GPU's power
  6. good. you did, because some people forget to mark their topics as solved when they got the right answer.
  7. Try to reinstall the parts on the motherboard again, sometimes it works for me. If that doesn't work try a different GPU or on it.
  8. how much do you get in firestrike normal? curious because your system looks pretty similar to my SC17 1070
  9. I tried to reconnect them again, it looks and magically they decided to light up. It looks gorgeous now.
