    Thanks guys. Looks like I got my answer. I'm not sure if I'm going to go with an overclocked 1700 or 1800x. The cost is the same if you include the price of a good cooler. Now I have to decide if the RX 580 would be better than a GTX 1080 with an R7 CPU

    Hey guys. I have been wanting to build a computer for the last few months, but am ready to start ordering parts tonight, but I'm torn. I'm not sure if I want to go with the 7700K with intel or the 1800x with AM or the new 1900x threadripper (when it is released in a few days). I am looking at playing a lot of games and maybe some streaming while playing. I'm probably going to go with a 1080 GTX since it wasn't out beat by Vega 64. Any input on the route I should go?
