  1. jesus, here i thought LTT was much nicer than the thickest slime of NexusForums... I'll be deleting my account after work.
  2. you must not have ANY accounts with Facebook, twitter, or any other "legit" looking sites eh?
  3. So, last night... around 12AM Pacific, i am thinking... "sheesh, sleep is NOT happening, i'll play some Black Desert Online" noticing i have a new message on steam, i see its from an old friend, so i check it out... my friend sent me a link to a site saying: "New accounts get 1 free gift game, click here: Gift-Key.com" i visit the site, spend a few minutes checking it out, and decide its worth a shot, it looks like a Steam themed G2A of sorts... With the added convenience of a "Login via Steam" button, i decide to create a new account. Upon successful login, i am logged out of my PC client, phone app, and after looking at my email i discover two VERY unsettling things... i didn't even open them as their subject said it all... Steam Mobile Authenticator successfully removed! Associated phone number successfully removed! HOW?! i had no idea you didn't need the phone OR the authenticator present to remove them... this was all accomplished within a minute @12:35 As seen with the 12:37 entry, i logged into my Steam Server account on my PC trying to see myself online... I wasn't online, but i must have been Invisible as i still was sending out links to the site by the hijacker. as seen here my account is sharing the link, in the same fashion i first received it, only now, the URL is altered... still have not clicked it. I discovered the way to lock my account after google searching for it, its not very clear about how on its own, almost as if they're trying to make sure you didn't just forget your password. However, i didn't take a screenshot of the email, but it was changed to one with two decimal points in the name before @gmail.com, and started with an i... very much different to email, without points, and starting with a K instead.... Luckily, my email is still secured. And this all happened through steams secure login system... well, insecure login. It was in this email that i learned it was another russian account hacker, the first time for my Steam account. Origin has been hacked from me 3 times so far. After locking and finally submitting the recovery request, i wake up this morning and discover, i've been recovered!! First concern i had, i have SERIOUS questions on how the Steam Guard was removed, and HOW my phone was removed, WITHOUT confirmations from either. Second concern i had, is this going to be investigated any? Oh, and notice how there's now a fun yellow notification on here? Yup, the hijacker launched PUBG from my account and used an illegal program and got my account banned. Now, i'm not even the least bit concerned over being banned from PUBG, it is a game of little entertainment value to me, and holds significant negative emotional memories about a certain someone. Besides, i've already tried to return it, months ago, but it was past the time frame, and i've got just about four hours play time total on it. However, i dislike extremely my account on Steam now saying i have a Ban on record. And if i want to reverse it to get with the game developer support... OK, i have all this information and records to justify my case and easily get it removed.... Welp... looks like I'm being punished for being a victim. This is absurd, so, regardless i submit a ticket, detailing the entire ordeal, and supplying screenshots as i have now. I'm REALLY tired, and haven't slept much, and i've got to go to work in a few hours for the late shift delivering pizza. I think this concludes my story. I'm still amazed that the phone and guard were removed so easily. JUST using this as a warning for other players, i know you shouldn't click rando links, but it was from a friend, and the site looked legit, and steam didn't have any protest about going to the site like it usually does, and it had a steam login option... I was NOT expecting what happened to happen. Much less be held accountable for it, this has never happened before, and it happened with such ease that i'm still in awe at the lack of security with steam.
  4. Well, they did keep the old Kitchen set in the new building, can we get some cutlery tips?
  5. i would have left a review but i bought it hastily and didn't create an account with the store. I bought a crystal and several other things from China on eBay in the past and it smelled the same, so it just rings the "came from some knockoff store in China" bell for me
  6. After buying (and FINALLY getting) the LTT Water Bottle, i now fear for my life as it has a horrendous industrialized cancer smell, and what ever i put in it, tastes the same. I've washed it four times already. No change... It looks amazing though!!!
  7. I mean, the youtuber who reviewed it got it... so why not someone with more resources and a whole company behind him as well? I mean if no one else, at least throw it at Dennis.
  8. I searched it up and found several youtubes that show the negative being altered but the electrolyte is still the same as before which is where all batteries are failing at. The one i've linked offers the ability to cut chunks out of it, and it still work due to it being a solid state electrolyte. Using the same Electrolyte and just changing one of the terminals is how we went from Lithium batteries to Lithium Ion batteries, the Electrolyte didn't change, just the Cathode, the LiSi battery is are just the same as the Li-Ion, however i'm pretty sure they are actually "LiSi-Ion" i think thats more accurate to their function... Using the SSB you would be able to go back to the higher output Lithium (non Ion) battery without sacrificing longevity. Instead of using a Li-ion Cathode, and Silicon Anode. The original Lithium Cathode and Graphite Anode could be used with the solid state electrolyte. That is the idea. NOTE: Not sure how to remove accidental posts...
  9. I'm not talking about the Anode, i'm talking about the Electrolyte used.
  10. New tech? Oh Blyat, incompatible.

  11. This video HERE show's Linus struggling with common Li-Ion (or even Li-Po) degradation issues. I commented for Linus to look into a video i saw a little while before he even posted his video. This video HERE is where i learned of this new AMAZING battery type. With Linus' routine hard-on about anything "Solid State" i figured this would spark some kind of a craze in the Solid State Savvy tech man... This video HERE offers another look at the battery type of which i am speaking of... I would love to see LTT make a video of it, MAYBE even more? I've heard it called solid state battery, SSB, but in the last video linked, he refers to it as a Lithium Ceramic Battery, but i think SSB sounds a little like something we all can get used to saying.
  12. not entirely certain... but Neo-Revo does make a point, the LPM for a high end water cooling pump specific to PC cooling is 25LPM, and the one from the video shows 8LPM on the motor/pump/fan assembly. I would agree that by itself this would not be sufficient, however, i wouldn't put it past someone to also switch out the pump in it instead of just the fan like the in the video, though at that point, you just have a really expensive AIO that you could have bought elsewhere... I do like the idea of the remotely cooled and operated cooling loop to be honest... wish there were more like it. I still think this one is the coolest though, the Reserator (Reservoir+Radiator+Water Pump) http://www.xoxide.com/zalman-reserator-1-v2.html
  13. So i was watching a youtube video that was not from LTT (shocker i know) and it sparked an idea, so i did some research, and now i'm fully ready for this to be taken to the next level by some mad scientist... i mean Linus. Hopefully this link isn't bad by the time someone else see's it, but here's the link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vevor-Arctic-WRC-300A-110-Volt-Tig-Torch-Water-Cooling-Cooler-with-Flow-Alarm-/112858775956?_trksid=p2349526.m4383.l4275.c10#viTabs_0 Basically: This is a water cooler for a TIG welding machine... with a cooling capacity of over 3000 watts... I'm not 100% sure if that is the same rating system as the CPU TDP wattages, but with a peak of over 3000, i'm intrigued for sure. also mentions a flow of 1L/M cool at 1600w, so it can't be a total loss. Another thing to note, this thing is a complete, pump, fan, reservoir, and radiator, all in a box, with a handle. Youtube video link:
