  1. Bumping this thread, my problem is still not resolved. Anyone has any idea?
  2. Low, High, same results. Yes dual channel
  3. I even tried putting everything to low, same result
  4. Yes, always updating. I don't know, a friend of mine has an i5-3470 with same GPU but he can run it smoothly on High
  5. "VGA connectors and cables carry analog signals while DVI can carry both analog and digital. DVI is newer and offers better, sharper display compared to VGA. You can easily tell them apart because VGA connectors (and ports) are blue while DVI connectors are white." Copied from a google search. Uhm, I'm not sure if the difference will be significant, maybe just go with whichever adaptor you can find first, for me it was easier to find a VGA to HDMI adaptor. The last part kinda confused me btw
  6. Hello guys. So i've been having this troubling problem for some time. Everytime I run GTA V, it runs very bad, textures take a good while to load, too much lag. Its shown that the CPU usage during the game can even hit 99% while the gpu usage stays pretty low. I tried reinstalling the game and installing it again, messing with the settings, even the config files, still no luck. (this issue only happens with GTA V) Specs: i5 7500 3.4ghz 1050ti 4gb 2tb hdd + 128gb ssd Thanks in advance :] edit: textures often disappear
  7. But like this way it pulls the hot air released from the cpu cooler doesnt it? and it blows the hot air inside, where if i were to install intake and get fresh air, in a case where theres hot air and no way to push it out, would that just be bad? Also I'm buying a case fan for the front but the port in the mobo is too far for the front cpu cooler. How do i deal with that?
  8. Hey guys. So I had probs with my temps. The pc itself had no case fan. Just the GPU fans wich would blow heat inside, and stock cpu cooler. I installed a small 80mm fan on the back of the pc as exhaust (pushing air out). The HDD would reach 50-52 degree C before the fan and now it sits around 40 wich is decent i guess. But the CPU is going too much, it moves like 5 degrees at second sometimes, like from 55 to 65 and you can hear the new case fan going up in a second. And then it moves back down, wich is kinda weird. Any idea what might happend? Right now its at 44 degree, as soon as I open up a game it goes to 70-75 in matter of sec. Is it good that i installed the case fan as exhaust? should i change it to intake? Thanks in advance.
  9. So i tested the gpu, its fine, so the pcie slot is dead. Now im buying another pc, and i thought of using this as a media pc and connect it to my tv. Now that i reseated the ram sticks, i power the pc, where there should be a green light (near the start button) is now red, it gives 5 short beeps, and if i press the start button again (to like try and shut it down), the cpu fan goes on Turbo modee, i had never seen that fan pull that much air.. any help? Edit: it was a ram problem, wasnt properly seated, its cool now. Thanks yall
  10. Update: i tried with and without gpu. Without gpu it boots normally. Im hoping that the pcie slot died and no my gpu.. real tragic that would be
  11. I dont have uefi bios. Ill try everything you said in a few hours once i get home and then ill reply with the results
  12. I dont really know how to do the psu troubleshooting part, cuz even if its not dead (wich i suspect it is), i may end up killing it myself xd
  13. Hey guys. So this weird thing is happening. I press the start button of the pc, and the monitor shows a “no signal” sign and then no display. After about 7-8 tries, pc booted normally. I shut it down after I was down, now its giving the same problem. (This is the first time in experiencing this kind of problem) Any ideas what the culprit may be? specs: core 2 quad q9650 @3ghz gtx 1050 ti 4gb msi 240w psu hp factory 12 gb ram ddr3 (2x2 and 2x4) 1TB toshiba 7200rpm sata 3
  14. Hey guys.. So I bought a new hard drive, and installed a clean windows copy. Now, its been like 3 weeks since that happend. Today I opened Local Disk C and I saw "windows.old" but why.. i havent reinstalled windows or anything... Anyone?
