So, just the other day, I bought a used gtx980, it worked perfectly fine for the night i put it in. The next day, I booted my pc as normal, and the card did the "white lines" from a broken gpu. Not sure what happened, and the guy gave me where he worked and everything so he seemed legit. Previously in the past, i bought a used r9 fury, and 6 months after purchasing the card started having artifacting problems so i stopped using it and switched back to my original card. (r9 380) used it for around 3 months before purchasing the 980.
Long story short; needed upgrade so i got the gtx980 used as a temp until i can get my hands on the next 3060 or 6700 (or whatever is good coming soon). Not sure whats the issue, my only suspect is the psu, does anyone have any experience with this in the past? (Faulty pcie rail)
