Thanks for helping me i tried to connect it into my other laptop SATA connector but i can't boot because of no windows in it , i dont remember removing the windows partition i dont have other cable . a functional open computer with 2 free aditional SATA available may be helpful to connect a second drive so i dont have to remove the main Os drive

I have an External HDD with years of working file in it, I can access the file but my external keep disconnecting without warning Please Help, It's an 1 tb HDD it seems the cable broke ??? Each time I'm connecting the USB Ive tested it in 2 laptops I can copy some small files quickly before it disconnected automatically unexpectedly. How can I copy all my files, because it's a lot of huge files , its too long to copy them one by one , what solution I'm thinking to connect it in to a SATA port in my laptop create an partition and install windows in it (if it gives me the time to do it without disconnecting ) after creating the partition to in the HDD using my laptop SATA connector to install it in one of my laptop and now i think i won't need USB cable ??? this is right ??? ( if I successfully install ) do you have guys a better idea
