  1. Try chkdsk [disk letter] /f please. It still looks like file's integrity issue.
  2. Ok, then, your description of the issue matches the usual behaviour on a mother that was replaced to one with another chipset or a cloned drive that went to a different PC. The easiest way i know to wipe out the drivers is a clean Windows installation
  3. Well, no, the files reside in the drive D:, they won't appear if you can't access them. As in the opposite situation, formatting C drive wouldn't make you lose those files. Just gessing... It'll copy your new folders to a new location you asign, and those "new folders" are the ones in C, created by the OS, that you are now accessing, since you virtualy removed drive D (electrical failure)
  4. If you can add 2 gb ram of the same model, that'd help a lot. Assuming you are using chrome and some late Windows version(not XP)
  5. Wow, really? i should've bet on more wattage, didn't want to spend on watts i wouldn't use once amperage was enough. The PSU must have degradated a little bit. Thanks
  6. That could work, but it'd fry itself on summer... anyway, it didn't happen before, as this is their second winter(PSU and GPU), they should have shown this problem on the first one. It's air cooled (stock cooler)
  7. Have you spilled water on RAM sticks or the mobo? maybe you could try a memtest
  8. Hello community, I have this strange problem when booting for the first time, few hours after turning off the PC, my GPU won't boot up, no signal at all. Started on winter, the first day that ambient low temperatures got around 15°C or less. First of all, my hardware: -NZXT hale82 v2 550w | PSU -ASUS M5a97 LE R.2 | MOTHERBOARD ------> REPLACING MY "OLDER" m5a78l-m lx3 (THOUGHT THIS ONE WAS THE PROBLEM, IT WAS NOT) -AMD FX 6100 (OC to 4.0 ghz vcore 1.35 v) | CPU -Hyperx Blu 4 gb DDR3 1600 mhz x2 | RAM -XFX R9 380 double dissipation GDDR5 2 gb | GPU - WD 1 TB caviar black | HDD How i solve this every day... 1)I turn the PC on, press DEL to get into BIOS to avoid OS damage (no signal on screen at all), let it warm up about a minute long. 2)Power off the PC and remove the power plug for about 20 seconds 3)Plug it in, and turn on again, and boila... GPU shows up! GPU and PSU were my last bought (not counting my "new" mobo). But yet i think one of this 2 might be the problem. Installed new mobo, as mentioned before, formated my HDD, updated everything, BIOS, Windows 10, GPU drivers. Nothing solved this. In "normal" temperatures (over 16° or 17°) this won't happen, it boots normally the very first time. What would be your suggestions? Thanks for the help! EDIT: BIOS default configuration has the exact same issue.
