  1. Thank you very much! I've watched Jay's video. Looks like I won't be needing an additional cooler. I think I've got my final build now. Big thanks to everyone who contributed to my post!
  2. Alright, you've convinced me Thank you very much! Btw, since the Ryzen 3 is shipped with a cooler for the CPU, will I be needing the other one or can I scrap that one?
  3. Wow, thanks for the effort! Since that build barely manages to stay under €500, I went ahead and used pcpartpicker to show you guys what I currently have. Here it is: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/LNtVpb The case, as well as the CPU cooler, are different ones because I couldn't finde the ones I have, and I had to edit some of the prices, but this is roundabout where I'm currently at; €462.85. BUT this also includes a headset for €26.67, which I couldn't find on pcpartpicker. It's a Sharkoon Skiller SGH1. What do you guys think?
  4. @DragonTamer1 Thank you! I'll keep that in mind. @JDE @Conza now, now. @Conza Thank you for putting in the effort and linking me your builds! I think one thing you both agree on is whether the Pentium G4560 is the right choice. I've watched some reviews on YouTube and read that some games don't even run on a CPU with 2 cores, which this one has. So, what do we do? The Pentium G4560 is currently sitting at around €70. I wouldn't mind spending €10 more if there is a better CPU.
  5. Thanks, I used it ^^ But everything on there is more expensive than the site I'll be buying from ;o
  6. Done. Thank you very much! Btw I realized that, wouldn't I also need a cooler for my CPU?! Since the CPU is just the "tray version", it says. Since I don't want to further molest my bank account, I think I'll choose one for €20 from Alpenföhn, which has good reviews. Bloody hell, that is going to be one expensive month.
  7. @Baumibert, @JDE, @Glennieboyyy007 Thank you all very much! I've found a MSI 250M Pro-VDMSI 250M Pro-VD Motherboard, which says that it supports the 1151 socket, and a 500w PSU. Thanks to you all I've managed to drop down to €480 by scrapping the SSD and replacing the parts mentioned before! I don't know if I'm allowed to link the German site I'm planning on buying from, but they seem to have reasonable prices Maybe I'll be able to get an additional discount if I ask them with a friendly smile There are some videos on YouTube that show how to connect a laptop or tablet with a desktop PC by using a software, maybe I will give that a try? Lastly, I'll need a case. Excuse my ignorance, but it just needs to fit all the parts in and leave some room for air-flow, right? D: Wouldn't any Mid-Tower get the job done?
  8. Hey everyone! Thanks for the help so far I've scrapped the SSD and AMD Ryzen and put the Pentium g4560 on my list, as well as replacing the 16GB of RAM with 8GB of Corsair Vengeance, which is half the price of the 16GB version (obviously? lol). How about the motherboard? Is it still compatible? Also, would a 500 watt power supply suffice? ^^
  9. Greetings, everyone. I've registred an account here after thinking where I could find help for building my first PC. About me: I'm currently 22 years of age, living in Germany and will be moving into my own flat soon, due to studies. Unfortunately, I will not be able to take my current PC with me, apart from the GPU. So I was hoping you guys could help me out. I'm looking at having 2 monitors. (By the way, is it possible to use a laptop as a second monitor? Could I plug my laptop into my new rig?) I don't know much, apart from some basic stuff (maybe not even that, lol), about PC's and building them, but I've made a rough draft of the parts I want. I'm living in Germany and was hoping to stay under €500, but the draft I made takes me to over €600 *cries in broke*. Here it is: GPU (the one I will be taking with me) 6144MB Gainward GeForce GTX 1060 CPU AMD Ryzen 3 1200 3,1GHz AM4 107€ Motherboard ASUS Prime B350-PLUS AM4 90€ RAM Corsair Vengeance LP Series DDR3-1600, CL9 16GB 150€ Power Supply CS-M Series CS650M 80€ HDD Western Digital STA 6G 1TB 50€ SSD Team Group DARK L3 Series SATA 6G 60GB 50€ Monitor ViewSonic VA2265SMH, 54,61 cm 100€ Keyboard Cougar 200k 30€ Mouse Gigabyte M6900 Gaming Mouse 25€ And I'd obviously need a case, but I have no idea how to choose one, and a windows license. If there is a chance to cut down some of these prices, I'd be more than grateful. The games I'm looking forward to playing (mainly) are World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Rocket League and Final Fantasy 14. If there's more information that you need, I'll provide! lol Thanks for reading.
