  2. Right now im playing at 1920 x 1080 but i am/was looking in getting a new monitor which spawned all of this which is https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824106004 and thats a 2560 x 1440 (2K), 144 Hz
  3. Hello i was on here the other day for help on getting a new monitor when it dawned on me that i may not even be able to fully utilize it. Right now i am in a 'moral' 'dilemma' and need some assistance. I do not know if it is really 'worth' it to upgrade my whole system right now. It was built in the summer of 2012 with a few upgrades as needed (a new ssd to 500g and a new hhd to 6tb, graphics card upgrade). What i have questions about is if there is anything glaring that i would need to upgrade on my old build to get a steady framerate on FPS's like BF1, PUBG ,ext or is it a simple just get a 1080 TI kind of deal. Here is my old build (could not find my old PSU so i added a generic 750 W 80+ Bronze this is what i had before PC Power & Cooling ZT Series 750 Watt 80+ Bronze Fully-Modular Active PFC) and i will also paste what im currently looking at upgrading as well under my current build. Thanks for any help! 4. Its also trying to future prof the monitor ( i plan on upgrading the CPU and mobo within the next 6 months as well prob around tax return season in the states 'jan-feb') so thinking of getting an all round monitor would be a good thing as well.
  5. Its more for the twitch/fast paced games what im looking at it for. (dont want to use my monitor as an excuse for bad play on my part) and just picture quality for the 'slower' paced games like the Total War games.
  6. I have not played Destiny 2 yet so im not sure on that. For PUBG if i remember correctly (i'm currently at work yay night shift) i get around 60FPS normally, maybe 50ish in cities, everything in low except View Distance
  7. Hello All! The next item i'm looking at upgrading for my PC set up is a new monitor. Right now i dont really know what to go for the last time i looked into getting a new one/got a new one was in 2012. Just a little info that might help you guys help me out a little more is that the games I am primarily playing right now are Total War: Warhammer (and soon 2), PUBG, League of Legends, and soon Destiny 2 being the most graphically intensive game with D3, Hearthstone, and other turn based games thrown in. I have been looking at Acer Predator Z1 i think the 29" range is what im looking for if it is a curved monitor. I think 144 Hz might be a good goal but like i said i not all to clear on things now a days. I just want to be able to play twich games with out worrying about latency being to big of an issue. Rig info below! Thank you for all the help!
