  1. That was my plan weeks ago. But I can’t find 4x4 RGB kit here in Japan.
  2. It will not much have that performance increase because on my use case, max ram usage I saw was 12gb.
  3. Will a DDR3 dim fit? Not sure if they are physically the same. I have some old DDR3 memory that I’m not using.
  4. So I just upgraded my GPU to a MSI RTX 2070 Gaming Z from a MSI GTX 1060 3GB Aero ITX Before I upgraded most of the time my the LED colors of my PC is just on static. But now after buying an RGB GPU I can't get enough of RGB! I want to add RGB on my RAM. I don't want to upgrade it just want to add RGB to it (Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mhz) I planning to buy these RGB Heatsinks to add to my 8GBx2 memory but I want to do 4 dims. Is there any dummy dims you know of or do you have an idea how can I mount the RGB heatsinks without the actually dim?
  5. Price converted using XE Currency. All of the prices are from Amazon Japan RM850x (2018) = ¥ 14,527 ($129) RM750x (2018) = ¥ 14,211 ($125.5) RM650x (2018) = ¥ 12,163 ($107.4) RM550x (2018) = ¥ 11,453 ($101.2) Edit: I'm also planning to upgrade my CPU to a Ryzen 7 when the 3rd gen Ryzen chips are released.
  6. But i'm also planning to upgrade my CPU to a Ryzen 7 when the 3rd gen Ryzen CPUs are released
  7. I'm planning to upgrade my PSU and need a suggestion which to get. Here in Japan the price difference of RM750x and RM850x is like $3 and I don't know which one to get. I want to ask because I want to know which of the two is more efficient. I watched some videos and read some posts that there is an efficiency curve thing. This is full spec of my rig CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.8Ghz Motherboard: MSI B350M Bazooka GPU: MSI RTX 2070 Gaming Z Ram: Corsair LPX 2x8GB 3000mhz DDR4 PSU: Antec Neo Eco 650W 80+ Bronze Storage: • Samsung 850 Evo 250GB (Boot Drive) • Samsung 860 Evo 500GB (Steam Library) • Western Digital Blue 1TB (Anything Library) Cooling: NZXT X72 Case: MasterBox 5 White (Mesh)
  8. I'm currently looking at Corsair's RMX 2018 and the price difference of RM750x and RM850x is like $3 here in Japan. Should I get the RM850x? Or the RM750x will be more efficient (efficiency curve wise)
  9. Good day! So I just recently upgraded my GPU from GTX 1060 3GB to a RTX 2070 and i'm a bit concerned about my PSU. Currently i'm using an Antec Neo Eco 650W 80+ Bronze (Full spec of my rig at my signature) for a good year now and I noticed that it has some noise (it's not that loud you can barely hear it a few feet away) when I stick my head right to the PSU area of the case. I'm not sure if that noise is already there before I upgraded my GPU but I'm concerned about it. I'm afraid it might damage other components. I'm not sure if I'm just paranoid that I'm still using an Entry level PSU from my first build. I'm planning to upgrade PSU when I upgrade my CPU (Waiting for Ryzen 3rd gen). I ran FireStrike for about an hour and didn't saw any issues, artifact or whatever. The GPU even boosted up to 1965Mhz on stock settings. Is that noise a bad thing and I need to upgrade my PSU or am i just paranoid?
  10. Honestly speaking my only preference is that the panel is 1080p so I don't need to hook it up to an external monitor. As long as it gets the job done i'm ok with it. 11. Good day! I just ordered a MSI 2070 Gaming Z and it will arrive tomorrow and I just want to ask if it's a good idea to run 3DMark Firestrike for maybe 1-2 hours everyday for a week to stress test the RTX 2070 w/o overclock. I want to do this because i've seen some post on reddit (w/ photos) that their 2070s are dying/artifacting. I live in Japan and I ordered through Amazon and their return policy here is within 7 days after you receive the product. I want to know as early as possible if my card is faulty so that I could return it as soon as possible because it's easier for me just ship it back to Amazon rather than contacting MSI for RMA because I can't speak Japanese.
  12. Location: Japan Budget: around 35,000 - 50,000 yen Display Quality: Anything will do. Display Size: Anything will do. Display Resolution: 1080p Weight: Doesn't matter that much. Battery life: Doesn't matter that much, it will be plugged in most of the time.
  13. But on Elgato's website it says you need Intel HD or GTX 600 or better.
  14. Good day! I'm planning to buy a Elgato HD60s and a used laptop for streaming from my main rig. I just want to ask what are the specs that i should be looking out for? Like CPU, GPU, RAM and Storage.
  15. I was talking about the Palit 2070 Dual. Are the fans loud?
  16. I'm currently playing Assassin's Creed, Monster Hunter and some e-sports title so yea right now I don't need the rtx stuff.
  17. I live in Japan and I'm planning to buy a new GPU. Used is not an option because I can't speak japanese and i'm not comfortable buying used products. That being said... Both MSI 1080 Gaming X and Palit 2070 Dual are about the same price here in Japan. I just want to hear your opinion on which GPU to buy. Thanks.
  18. A friend of mine shown me a website both of these cards are priced at Y40,000 ($350), It does not specify if it's been used for mining or whatever. Both of the cards have 1 month warranty. Which one will you guys get? I've been searching about the 1080 Armor OC but most of the time the search results are showing 1080Ti Armor saying it thermal throttles very quickly. Do you think the "Armor" cooler can provide decent cooling for the 1080? If not, is the Palit one good? I haven't tried any Palit GPUs so i'm not sure about longevity but it has higher boost clocks and it has dual bios.
  19. I'm not much of an overclocker and i'm pretty sure I have good airflow in my case (3 120 intake, 2 120 exhaust w/ mesh front) so will this card do?
  20. How about Gigabyte 1080Ti OC? I just searched in Amazon JP and found that its cheaper than Zotac's offering ¥82,000 vs ¥86,000
  21. I do have a friend who always upgrade his GPU with the TI versions and willing to sell his 1080Ti to me for ¥60,000 BUT he wants to wait for the price of the 2080Ti to drop around MSRP around ¥110,000 but right now the 2080Ti is ¥180,000
  22. What I meant is the 2070 Armor NO OC Variant. There is also a 2070 armor with OC variant
