  1. Any app recommendations? Would the app have to have shutter speed settings or something or no?
  2. Can I do a longer exposure on an iphone 6 plus or do I have to use a different camera?
  3. I'm getting these 3 large horizontal Yellowish/Greenish lines in photos when on a white table with lighting... it only seems to happen in this environment. I even tried putting white poster board all around to see if it was color bouncing off the walls but it still does it. Any idea how to fix this or is it just something with my lights? Also this does not happen with my lumix gm7 dslr. Phone I'm using is iPhone 6 Plus. Thanks.
  4. Thank you. Could you link me to the articulating one? I'm not seeing it for some reason.
  5. Looking for a Tripod Boom Microphone Stand to hold Zoom H1 w/ the threaded tripod mount socket so that I can extend it over my desk without having to mount anything onto my desk. Basically I need something like this (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000978D58?keywords=tripod%20boom%20stand%20mic&qid=1458525168&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1) that I can use to attach the Zoom H1 to the end of it. What's the least amount of product(s) I would need to get all of this attached? Thanks.
  6. Every time I start a video recording with this camera (Lumix DMC-G7KS DSLM?) it says there is 20 min, 20 sec remaining even though sd card is empty. shouldn't it be at least 30 min? How can I fix?
  7. Ok. I don't think my situation is normal though. I can keep having to tap the screen to make it focus but I've seen plenty of people do the same thing I'm trying to do and you can see both of their hands throughout the whole video so it should be possible unless this camera is just terrible at auto-focusing on video.
  8. I'm having a problem auto-focusing with the Panasonic Lumix GMC-G7k even though I have AFC picked, shutter AF in the custom menu is set to off, and focus/release priority in the custom menu is set to RELEASE. I'm using the kit lens (14-42 mm Lens) and as you can see in the video below, sometimes it takes a long time to focus on the small object when I bring it up to the lens, and once I remove the small object, sometimes it doesn't bother focusing on the item in the back. And occasionally it auto-focuses just fine.Any setting or other way to go about fixing this problem? My iPhone 6 plus handles all of this perfectly, as I'm sure plenty of cheaper cameras do. Thanks.
  9. How about the Panasonic - G7 Mirrorless Camera with LUMIX G VARIO 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 II ASPH./MEGA O.I.S. Lens or any of the other Nikon D5xxx? Would any of those be better for my needs than the D3300?
  10. Can the Nikon D3300 DSLR Camera with 18-55mm Lens zoom out as far as the Sony Handycam PJ440 can (Focal Length 26.8 - 804 mm and Zoom Optical: 30x)? Or would I need a different lens? If so, which one(s)? I'm trying to stay under $500-600 USD total. If you have another recommendation for camera/lens, please let me know. I basically want the footage to look exactly like the video in the screenshot attached below from this video at 56 seconds. It's just that based on where I need to place my camera and how big my white table and the products are, so far only that PJ440 camera (that I've actually tried) can zoom out enough. Thanks.
  11. Here's my current situation. I picked up a Vixia HFR600, but the footage looks too dark in my lighting conditions (idoors with these lights) and it couldn't zoom out far enough to see the products I'm reviewing without having to move it too far back from the table to where I couldn't comfortably reach the products. I then picked up a Sony HDRPJ440 because I noticed it could zoom out as much as I needed, but it also has terribly dark footage and looks very low quality. So here is my current situation. What I'm doing: Youtube video product reviews on a white table up against a light blue wall. Needs: 1. Camcorder or dslr/lens that can zoom out as least as far as the HDRPJ440 can (Focal Length 26.8 - 804 mm, Zoom Optical: 30x) 2. Must produce brighter/clearer video footage than the HDRPJ440 in my lighting situation mentioned above Desires: 1. Be able to pause the video recording all in the same clip 2. Be able to plug a Zoom H1 to it for audio 3. The ability to take nice photos (dslr quality) Budget: Trying to stay under or around $600 USD, but can go a bit higher if it is the only way to do what I want to do. Any recommendations? I was looking at the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 and it seems nice but was told it can't zoom out as far as the HDRPJ440 can without $500-600 lens (or at least that was BH Photo's recommendation). Is it possible that the lights could be my problem, or is it definitely that I need a better camera? Thanks.
  12. Yes I just need some more recommendations on the lighting and want to see if someone can figure out which specific lights these are.
  13. Trying to figure out what the lighting set is in these photos attached, or something similar. Basically I'm looking for a lighting set to do a videos with this type of visual setup of the video below. My budget is flexible but I'd like to buy the minimum required. Don't know about lighting so not sure if softbox, umbrella, or the square/round LED style fits my needs, but the folks in the video who have the same type of setup I want use the lights shown in the photos attached. Thanks.
  14. I'm looking for advice on a good camera, audio, and lighting set to do videos just like this one for unboxing small/medium sized toys on a white table with a colored wall in the background. I want the lighting to be pretty superb, and ideally I'd like to record audio and video on the same file so that I wouldn't have to sync the audio and video every time to edit the film. The only equipment I currently have (some, which I don't think will do the job) includes C920 webcam, iPhone 6 plus, and blue yeti microphone. The webcam has no zoom, and the iphone can't hook up to a decent microphone I don't think. I'd love to use the blue yeti but the only way I know how to get the blue yeti audio as the main audio on the video is to use the webcam with with camtasia, which is the video editor I have. Any advice for the best or minimum required equipment for my needs would be appreciated. As for budget, not really an issue but I'd like to stay as low as possible as long as I can make videos with the same or better quality than the one I linked to. I also came across this video of someone who also makes this type of video that shows a glimpse of the setup. If you can tell me what lights, camera, camera stand, or mic they have, I'm sure those would do what I need. Thanks for your help.
