  1. but i need to know what die type are this chips for the calculations
  2. I have been trying to OC my ram on ryzen with the ryzen memory calculator, but my modules aren't recognized by thaipoon burner, its a very odd module i think... Its a 2x4GB Patriot Viper 3000MHz, model pv48g300c6k. Thaipoon says its a SK Hynix chip, but the dram components on it only matches with Micron ones. Micron has a MT40A512M8HX-093E chip listed on its site. So what is this ram? Micron a-die, b-die, d-die, e/h-die or other? 7. I saw a build where 3 RGB fans are used in the front and a 240mm radiator with 2 fans at back of the radiator, but it doesn't seem that a 3rd fan at back can be used with a 360mm radiator, the hole in the PSU cover seems too small. I'm still searching about this...
  8. I'm preparing a black/red theme build for the upcoming Ryzen 3600X in June/July. PC Part Picker link: here The build will be based on the game logo Devil May Cry, picture bellow: DMC logo There will be a RGB plate with this logo at the side of the PSU shroud. The size i have planned is smaller that a VGA Plate, maybe around 8". I can't expend a fortune so i am picking parts carefully, buying parts on sale and some used parts. I have a few questions for those who know about this parts and also about the colors used. Things i have yet to buy: Ryzen 3600(maybe the 3600X or 2700/2700X are also options), Deepcool Captain EX360 Water Cooler, the MSI Optix Monitor, the RX Vega 56 Red Devil (or maybe around July AMD will have Navi on the market?). About the colors: - I want it most in black with some red here and there. The mother board have some red lights, ill be using 6 Aigo MR12 RGB fans with tiny red halos(fixed red color), the RAM is also red. - The 360mm cooler in the front have some black and red fans on it. Can i use a push and pull setup with this case? If yes, i want the Aigo fans in the front of the radiator and the Deepcool fans inside the case. Will this be nice this way? If not, i will use only the Aigo fans at the front. - The Red Devil graphics card is just perfect for this build theme... right? About the parts: - I think the Ryzen 2700 is enough for 1440p gaming and video editing, but lets see how the Zen2 performs and its price, since the 3600X seems very promising. - Any suggestion about the parts? I have most of them already bought, just to remind. Any other suggestion or comments are also welcome.
  9. So, how should i setup my fans orientations for this use case? Case: Coolermaster HAF XB EVO Part that i want to cool: VRMs Possible CPU cooler to use: Noctua NH-L9x65 (for extra wind into the VRMs?) <- I still need to buy this I also have: all other fans of this case (2x 80mm, 3x 120mm, 1x 200mm)
  10. The 4th build is to resell, 2nd and 3rd are just some suggestions i came up while doing nothing at work

  12. Cigano, yeah ill probably leave on auto with this results... suchamoneypit, clocks and voltages are in the txt file.
  13. Hi guys I have build my 1st Ryzen in January of this year(1600X + B350 board), and right now in December i have some of upgrades (2600X + B450 + different RAM kit). But its my 1st time trying OC, and the results are kinda... disappointing. Watching this hardware youtube channels gaining lots of extra fps seems so fun, but i didn't have this luck, or i'm really noob at this, or both... In the attachment are my results, form the 1st build and the upgraded one. Most games don't have any difference at all, using all those settings in the file. Some gains i have noticed: GRID 2 got 10% more fps with faster ram, but cpu clock doesn't matter Project Cars lost many fps! (maybe i was not using the same settings) >.< In Superposition i lost score with the new build @_@ Firestrike got like 2% more score with faster cpu clocks. Everything else is in the margin of error, or very minor gains. What do you guys think? Next year i will get a 1400p monitor and a Navi GPU. benchmakrs GTX1080.txt
  14. That Fatal1ty X470 Gaming K4 is also compatible with my current ram kit and have the same good quality audio and lan, while costing just a bit more. So maybe i should go with this instead?
  15. I have a ryzen 1600x cpu and a B350 Prime plus board (that i hate). So i want to upgrade the motherboard for now, to reach 3200Mhz speeds with my current kit and have a good board for ryzen 2 in 2019. Around $150 is a good value that i can expend. I'm between 3 models now to choose: X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming (nice audio, nice lan, doesn't support my 3200 ram kit so i have to buy a new one) ASRock X370 Gaming X (same good lan and audio, it supports my 3200 ram kit) ASUS PRIME X370-PRO (same audio and lan, doesn't support my ram kit) I don't mind getting a new ram kit to replace my current one if needed. So which one of this 3 should i get? Which one have the best VRMs?
