Leakbang

So I have a Western Digital My Passport Ultra external hard drive and sadly I've forgotten the password for it. I tried many combinations but none of them worked. Western Digital says that the only alternative is to wipe all the data on the hard disk and I have some crucial data on the hard drive that I need to access. Is there a way to either decrypt the hard drive data or use a brute force/dictionary attack to get the password or just anyway to bypass this lock? Help would be appreciated :).
