  3. Well information has just recently been released stating that the prices of Vega 64 aren't the final prices. It has been revealed by Overclockers UK that the price of Vega 64 (499) is set to increase in the long term to around £599. This does interfere with AMD's price to performance ratio slightly as their Vega 64 is now more expensive for +/- 5% performance making Nvidia's GTX 1080 seem sike the better deal. 4. Apparently, earlier today Intel confirmed that it is already working on a successor to their 8th Generation CPU's (Coffee Lake) called "Ice Lake". It is unclear whether they will be 4, 6, 8 or 10 core CPU's as Intel is yet to release any details in terms of CPU specifications apart from the fact that it will be based on a 10nm+ dye. 5. It will work - how well? That's a differant story. The quad core CPU will most likely be adequate for the server however the 1GB of RAM may be a MAJOR limiter for the performance and overall stability of the server. I would suggest getting a cheap PC from Dell or HP of Ebay and then using that. Ensure that the computer has at least 4GB of RAM minimum and also try to get on with a quad core CPU.
