  1. What @SupaKomputa said, but this could also be an opportunity for a repaste while you're at it if the card's getting on the older side.
  2. Try undervolting to get those temps down. 80C seems like a pretty early place for it to go ahead and throttle, but not much to be done about that I suppose.
  3. It doesn't really matter, most extenders are made in the same factory anyway
  4. Not certain if it's fixable, but it'd at least be worth popping it into a computer and seeing if it works
  5. Several leaked benchmarks suggest that the 3950X beats the 10920X by a significant margin. As for overclockability, you're not going to be reaching Intel-level speeds anytime soon, but the process itself should be relatively similar, essentially just tweaking voltages and clock speeds until you have something stable. No real recommendation for the SSD, just try to get whatever has the lowest price/gigabyte at the time of purchase, and go for NVMe if it's important (Which it probably won't be but up to you).

    What is this blasphemy
  9. Sell your 1080 and get a 2070 or 2080. Best of all worlds
  10. Distance. Just keep strong magnets away from your PC. You don't have to worry about weaker ones, my laptop has magnets built in to help with closing the hinge.
  11. Have you checked temps? Are you in any kind of OC mode?

  13. Do you want the monitors included in the budget?

I almost feel bad sniping the bid in the last 1…

Not at all (Damn it that's 2 replies lower than intended)
  15. My gut's telling me it's a RAM thing, then. Try and run memtest.

The Microcenter in my state (Missouri) has such…

I've never heard of not getting taxed on items that have been shipped but wow that is really absurd. Not that I'm complaining, but damn
  17. Posting your specs would help. Also, is this happening in all games? Outside of games? (Checked video) Have you checked GPU temps as well as CPU?

    Very cheeky
  19. I recommended this Surface Pro the other day, and I'll recommend it here as well. It's $500, keyboard is included: https://amzn.to/2IBZBkj. Also worth checking the used market, you can get an iPad Pro and keyboard cheap.
  20. You can get a damn cheap iPhone X on OfferUp and similar sites. There's one for $300 in my area, so depending on where you live you might get lucky.
  21. It should support any ATX unit.
  22. The 3600 runs better in games, but if you want to stream or do multithreaded workloads, then the 2700x is the better choice.
  23. Yeah, it's quite good. Solid weight, buttons, and RGB. I'm more than happy with my purchase.
