  1. Hey so i have access to a nice discount on the Samsung notebook pro 9 series line. I'm a college student and will be primarily taking notes and programming. I will also be carrying it with me to and from classes 4 days a week. I have a good tower at home. I can get this laptop for 776$. It has a dedicated Radeon 540 , i7 - 7500u, 16gb , 256 ssd, etc. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-notebook-9-pro-15-touch-screen-laptop-intel-core-i7-16gb-memory-amd-radeon-540-256gb-solid-state-drive-titan-silver/5886107.p?skuId=5886107 Or i can get this laptop for 703$. Its a 13 inch with the i7-7500u, 8gb, 256 ssd, etc. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-notebook-9-pro-13-3-touch-screen-laptop-intel-core-i7-8gb-memory-256gb-solid-state-drive-titan-silver/5886103.p?skuId=5886103 If you guys know anything about this laptop lineup, I'd appreciate the heads up. Im leaning on getting the 13inch because of its portability. Also, the fact that a doesnt have a dedicated GPU forces me to have less options when it comes to gaming so I wont end up playing at school and theoretically study more.... hopefully. Thanks for you time.
  2. I used to have that same logic. But after working in electronics retail for a year, i've seen to many high quality laptops in the range of 1000$+ being returned for defects at a rate of 1 to 4. I found a good deal on a samsung notebook pro 9 aswell. Originally 1100 dollars. After a special discount i have, i can get it for 750$. Thinking about making a new post about it.
  3. Hey guys. I'm looking for a overall decent laptop for school. Primarily for programming classes. So like taking notes and a lot of typing. Budget - No more than 800$ after tax. - 7.5% + CRF (3-6$) I don't need a dedicated GPU. If im going to be doing any gaming it will probably just be league, so integrated graphics is fine for me. Plus I got a tower at home. I do need a SSD. Cant go back to that hard drive life. Probably wouldn't want less than 8 GB of ram. I want a laptop that has decent build quality, weight, and batter life. I'm willing to sacrifice my CPU performance. I would be fine with a 7th gen i3-u processor. What are your opinions on the lenovo yoga 720? I can sometimes get it for brand new 699$ because I work at a retailer. I'm worried because I've heard of some issues with their 710 series. Dont know if it got fixed with the 720. Thanks so much for your time.
