  1. thanks for all the feedback! I am aware that when energy is created, so is heat, but it becomes uncomfortable at times and i was wondering if there was any way to dissipate it faster? if there isnt thats fine.
  2. my PC has been warming up my whole room for a little bit now, and heading into Summer i thought i should stop procrastinating. here are the important specs: Cpu: Ryzen 7 1700x overclocked to 3.9 Ghz (depending on what I need) Gpu: Nvidia GTX 1070 FE A240g water cooling kit for both the CPU and GPU. MotherBoard: X370 Gaming Pro Carbon Motherboard PSU: Supernova 750 B2 Wattage: 750 80+ Bronze. Chassis: Razer edition H440. Case Fans: F3 120 1850 RPM (X4) At first I thought it was maybe the fact my PC is on the floor and against a wall? bad airflow possibly? but I flipped the back and front of the case to the sides, (counter-clock wise) but I also have the PSU fan facing downward so I thought THAT might be the issue, so i put a wood board under it, so it would have a surface to bounce of off, instead of sinking in the carpet, still having trouble, the ONLY thing I can think of is that the bad efficiency of the PSU is heating it? also side note: my thermals are fine, i get 49C peak on my GPU, and 51C for the CPU, please help!
  3. I have the Razer edition H440 with two stock fans, running at 1200 RPM and two EK-Vardar F3-120 fans running at 1850 RPM and I was wondering if I should upgrade to all four fans to the EK Vardar F3-120's? For the rest of my specs that are relevant I have an A240G water cooling kit for my Cpu and Gpu. Cpu is a Ryzen 7 1700x oc to 3.9 Ghz and my Gpu is a GTX 1070 FE. TLDR How big of a difference would it make to upgrade two fans by 650 RPM in terms of temps? Thanks for any help you can give!
  4. Name Taken is that actually happening? might want to upgrade but I'm out of money FeelsLIfeMan.
  5. it all comes down to preference really, what games are you looking at playing? if its fps then you need that little advantage with the 144hz refresh rate, but i found a happy medium that i really like. 1440p 1 ms response time, and 144hz https://www.amazon.com/AOC-AG271QX-Gaming-Monitor-144hz/dp/B01G5JYN0C (but seriously 4k does look amazing so if you are looking at artistic games its gonna be a close call).
  6. Hello! So a couple months ago i finished my very first PC build, if you want you can check it out here https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DHZjf8 and one thing that was never solved for me was the ram on ryzen mobos. I remember the horror stories of two different lighting software's trying to control each other and I was wondering if that was ever fixed (I've been living with the default effect for months now). And yes I know they came out with ram for ryzen specifically but I'd really like it if I didn't have have to go out and buy ram again. This is important to me as i have a ryzen mobo made by MSI, but G.skill/ASUS aura RAM. So is there any way I can have those two lighting software's running at the same time and not have one get corrupted? Thanks for any help you can give!
  7. and you're sure nothing bad will happen to the loop with the water being dragged down by gravity?
  8. What about the water being dragged down by gravity? Will that do anything bad to my loop?
  9. So, I'm currently installing my first custom water cooling loop ever the A240G and I'm using the Razer H440 case and the only place to mount the reservoir is on the ceiling of the chassis I'm slightly nervous about it. I know its easy to slip up and even more so when you're mounting a reservoir on the ceiling so any suggestions? Any help is appreciated!
