  1. Yeah, makes sense. NF F-12 PWM I never knew these things excisted.
  2. I was just informing you what they said... I find it wierd that they won't say the specs for the CHA_FAN1 and CHA_FAN2, and only recommend 1 fan and says " if you do need to use more, please get active controller ". Seems sketchy to me.
  3. Here's ASUS support's answer: We dont have public information how much those fan max output power, I do recommend to use one fan/ connector, if you do need to use more, please get active controller.
  4. So theoretically you could add 20 NF-F12's on 1 header? That would be 1A 12W. That just does not sound right?
  5. Context: I recently got a Lian Li O11-Dynamic and plan to populate with 9 Noctua NF-F12 fan's. I have a Asus prime Z370-A mobo with 2 x CHA_FAN headers and ofc. CPU_FAN, CPU_OPT and AIO_PUMP. The mobo manual does not specify if CHA_FAN1 and CHA_FAN2 supports max 1A(12W), it only specify CPU_FAN. I asked ASUS support, but they have not come back to me yet. But let's assume it's 1A(12W). NF-F12 spec: Max. Input Power: 0,6 W Max. Input Current: 0,05 A Can i run 3x NF-F12's on CHA_FAN1 and 3 more on CHA_FAN2 with 3 way splitter? Fans draw more amp on startup right? Looking for answers from someone who has tried this and/or knows for sure. Thanks
  6. This combination of MB and ram is supposed to work with 3200mhz. It's probably something i am doing wrong. I have no experience with this stuff.
  7. Describe the problem you are having in detail but without rambling. If your post is as long as this one, it's too long. Setting ram to 3200mhz will not work. Tried following youtube videos ++. 8. Thank you so so mutch! Since i live in Norway im limited to 2-3 retailers, and the prices are messed up. I found the 1080 and it costs 13$ more than the 1070. (thx <3). Only one of the retailers had this GPU at a lower price, the others had it at 125 $ more... The CPU cooler is not available for me, but i found this. It's not listed on PCPartPicker for some reason. The SSD you listed is not available too me. But this is. The case you listed is not in stock until october There was a option of a "upgrade pack" including the CPU, motherboard and 3200Mhz memory. The 1700 is not even listed on there, only the 1700x. List on the retailers site. 2.000$ !! Yeah, so shopping for PC parts in Norway is a headache..
  9. Hi peeps! The last time i built a PC was over 10 years ago, so yeah... I feel like a scrub. I was hoping some of you could look at this and see if there is anything obvious i should change or need. List: pcpartpicker Some questions: 650W PSU enough? Too mutch? Do i need extra fans or cables? Just plug in a windows 10 usb stick and go?
  10. Here is an update. Not sure how to feel about this.
  11. When running heaven the gpu hit 95C. Let me know if i did something wrong.
  12. Arctic MX-2 thermal paste. If i leave turbo on it's constant thermal throttling at 95ºC when gaming (Even when undervolted). I uninstalled everything i don't use, there is nothing demanding running in the background.
  13. I did all of those tings, as i said in my original post.
  14. I have no idea what`s safe to adjust. I have MSI afterburner. Do you know?
