  1. Hello fine LLT forum people. I'm slowly but surely losing my mind. Whenever I enable secure boot ALL my USB ports shut off after leaving BIOS. I've tried: everything from updating drivers and bios to verifying that all my drivers are signed. reinstalling Win11 (although not a clean install, needed to keep programs and files). verifying that my drives are using GPT. resetting the TPM, enabling/disabling USB legacy support, tried clearing cmos and made doubly sure my BIOS is in UEFI mode. unplugging everything from my PC before booting and re-plugging everything after the login screen came up deleting the drivers and let windows reinstall the default drivers for my devices I tried following every troubleshooting step I could find but so far no luck. I was hoping someone here might have any idea what else I can try. System Info: OS: WIN 11 CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 MOBO: B450 TOMAHAWK MAX can add rest if needed
  2. See that's the problem with PC bulding/upgrading as soon as you've got a taste you want more, especially if you can get a bundle like with the Vega +Threadripper... ^^ Anyway thanks for confirming.
  3. So I got my self an Oculus during the summer sale and now I'd like to do more than play games as a slideshow. Current build and replacement parts: i5-4670K - probalbly keep MSI Z87-G43 - no need to replace without replacing the CPU, replacing it would give me the opportunity to throw out my old cheapass USB3.0 card which only partially works. AKL Alpenföhn Brocken 2 - no need to replace without repacing the CPU although I'd like to watercool but I try not to go on a spending spree... GTX 770 2G - okay this card needs to get replaced, I'm thinking of either getting a GTX 1070 or a Vega 56 (waiting for reviews on monday) if I choose the Vega (which is quite likely) the possibility of getting a bundle with a new CPU opens up 16 GB DDR3-1600 Crucial Ballistx - it's fine and I don't see a reason to upgrade, especially with my current Mobo BeQuite! PURE POWER L8 630W CM - dunno about replacing, I know an old PSU can be a time bomb but it works perfectly fine Xigmatek Midgard II - so I don't know what prompted me to buy this case but I must have been drunk at that time, while I don't need to replace it I'd like to get a fancier one with better cable management while not spending more than 100€. My drives are fine so they can stay. As far as I can see my first priority should be upgrading my GPU, which made me think of getting one of the AMD Vega bundles even though I don't quite understand how they work (do I get a CPU and if so which or do I get one for a reduced Price and which CPU can I get cheaper). I don't care about team red, green or blue (just realised that's RGB ^^) but I care about bang for the buck and compatibility with games (for instance AFAIK threadripper doesn't work as well with CS:GO as it should). Budget isn't a problem but the cheaper I can build the more I can save as a "hard times safety cussion". I'd like to get some input on possible combinations and my own upgrade suggestions as I'm a bit ootl when it comes to hardwarea atm.
  4. It looks like a bus terminator you would put on an unused bus to reduce noise by preventing a signal from being reflected. EDIT: After a bit additional googleing I'm not sure anymore, that's one strange connector... It seems to be this thing, a military rack and panel connector.
  5. I used to be Global Elite (before and after the rank shift of winter 2015/2016) but due to work I didn't have a lot of time to play so now I'm LEM. If anyone wants to add me: Steam Profile (EU)
  6. That might be a silly question but is your Intel HD Graphics Chip enabled? I had a problem several years ago where a game didn't use the graphics card but defaulted to the grrapics processor of the cpu.
