  1. Although it does require a 6-pin. Wouldn’t be an issue since i got a fully modular 650W PSU for Xmas, just more cable management hassle. I’ll watch some reviews on it. Thanks!
  2. Well, it looks a bit black to me (but I’m a bit color blind so you’re probably right). Do you think it would be better than the ASUS DUAL model?
  3. About to build a White/Silver/Gray themed Inwin 301 PC, and am unsure on what model of 1050 Ti I should purchase. I’ve been looking at the ASUS DUAL model, but want to know what the you guys think. (Trying to keep white/silver/gray color scheme) Thanks!
  4. I would prefer the ASUS motherboard, unless I can’t afford it. Honestly I am not sure how much money I’ll get for Xmas so we’ll see then.
  5. Probably a mix. When I'm home always ethernet. On the road at a friend's most likely always Wi-Fi depending who
  6. Thanks! Yeah, gonna add some LED fans, just forgot to. I have a 2TB 5.9K hard drive already MB I am going to add some LED White fans, just forgot to. I just chose the 8600K because it's $20 more for OC and other things Well, the FTW ACX 3.0 1070 is basically as much as the 1070 Ti, so I don't see the reason why not to get the Ti Alright, will edit that guy in! I will bump up to 250GB, and I already have a 2TB HDD. Thanks!
  7. Hey there LTT! My dad this morning surprised me with an Inwin 301 White edition as an early xmas present! I need help with now determining the rest of my parts. Here's what I've thrown together: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel - Core i5-8600K 3.6GHz 6-Core Processor ($229.99) CPU Cooler: CRYORIG - H7 49.0 CFM CPU Cooler ($29.99 @ Amazon) Motherboard: Asus - ROG STRIX Z370-G GAMING (WI-FI AC) Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($184.83) Memory: Crucial - Ballistix Tactical 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory ($82.49 @ Amazon) Storage: SK hynix - SL308 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($62.61 @ Amazon) Video Card: MSI - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB Titanium Video Card ($459.99 @ Newegg) Case: Inwin - 301 White MicroATX Mini Tower Case (Purchased For $0.00) Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G3 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($65.98 @ Newegg) Total: $1115.88 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2017-12-23 15:28 EST-0500 (CPU and mobo from Micro Center deal) I want to keep the Silver/Gray and White theme, so if you want to recommend me something, try and keep it to those colors! One thing I have been contemplating on is my GPU - I only play 1080p 60Hz (Gonna upgrade eventually, but still), but I like the theme on the Titanium 1070 Ti. I can't find a good Silver/Gray or White 1070, so I don't know what to do. Any help is greatly appreciated! ~Dyl
  8. I will change to C7. What’s your opinion on GPU? and there will be a full build log, don’t worry
  9. Nah I'm neutral, just I may go with a certain OS and Ryzen is a pain the the behind to install with it lol.
  10. Yes, I know I was planning on purchasing a laptop from my post, but I realized that buying a laptop will put me in the same predicament I am in right now a few years from now, where I get upgradability instead with a SFF PC or something similar. So, here I am again Basically, I am going to be building in a Node 202, and have mostly everything down except the GPU. Here is the plan (I've at least changed this 20 - 30 times already, I know I have a problem): PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel - Core i5-8400 2.8GHz 6-Core Processor ($199.89 @ B&H) CPU Cooler: Noctua - NH-L9i 33.8 CFM CPU Cooler ($39.15 @ Amazon) Motherboard: ASRock - Z370M-ITX/ac Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard ($126.98 @ Newegg) Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory ($83.99 @ Newegg) Storage: SK hynix - SL308 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($63.59 @ Amazon) Storage: Western Digital - Black 1TB 2.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($64.99 @ Amazon) Video Card: Sapphire - Radeon RX 580 8GB PULSE Video Card ($294.98 @ Newegg) Case: Fractal Design - Node 202 HTPC Case ($79.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: Corsair - SF 450W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular SFX Power Supply ($89.38 @ Amazon) Total: $1042.94 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2017-12-06 22:56 EST-0500 Now, I have an RX 580 in there purely for the 8GB of RAM, and since it's 10 months newer than the GTX 1060. Also, FreeSync is nice. Now, I'll be playing games like GTA V (my current laptop has 1GB VRAM, crashes every 5 minutes), ETS2, Cities: Skylines, CMS18, Stardew, and BeamNG.drive. I'm not sure what card I should go with at this point (HIGHLY prefer a blower card if you're going with a 1060 edit to the build, for the SFF case only), so that's where I need help. Around the $1000 mark would be optimal, but I have no idea how much I'm getting from the family. Thanks! ~Dyl P.S. Please keep Intel, I don't want to go Ryzen. Don't ask, I can't explain here.
  11. Thanks for the benches, I think hat may confirm my choice
  12. Nice builds, but that’s in GBP. That’s about $1400 USD making it not worth it over the laptop
