  1. Unfortunately my board only supports up to 8GB (4x 2GB) of DDR2 RAM, this is what I'm looking at getting from eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/8-GB-4x2GB-DDR2-PC2-6400-6400U-DDR2-800-MHZ-MEMORY-DIMM-PC-DESKTOP-RAM-240-PIN/221789630411, CEX will only let me buy 2 sticks at once. Thanks for the advice, the 7850 definitely seems to be the better choice, I'll keep you updated with whatever I end up doing.
  2. Yes sorry, CPU and 8GB RAM are both about £25 on eBay. The 7850 looks good, although the CEX link you gave lists in with only 1GB of VRAM, I'm not sure if that is a error on their part.
  3. Yes of course, I've already been looking at bits on eBay. I can get the Phenom 945 and 8GB on eBay for around £50 delivered, if I go with the 7750 they are currently going on eBay for about £30 - £40.
  4. I recently found my old PC at my parents house and was wondering if you guys thought it would be worth spending a little on parts to get it running properly again. I originally built it around 2006-7 and it hasn't really had anything done to it up until now (its been sat in storage for 6 or 7 years at least). Here are the current specs: Motherboard - Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless Edition CPU - AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+ RAM - 2x 1GB Corsair Ballistix DDR2 800Mhz Graphics - ATI Radeon x1650 Pro 256MB It has a generic 600W 'Gold' PSU which I actually think is failing, I might be able to get my hands on a Corsair CX430 on Monday to replace it. I've put a spare SanDisk 120GB SSD in it and got Windows 10 running, albeit very slowly already. After a bit of googling I think the following should get me going for the next 6-12 months until I can afford to do a completely new build: CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 3Ghz Quad Core RAM - 4x 2GB DDR2 800Mhz Now for the graphics, I'm a little unsure. I've been looking at getting an ASUS Radeon HD 7750 1GB, will that be decent enough for basic HD gaming? I'm trying to keep my total budget under £100 as I'm only expecting this system to last a year at most. Many thanks
