I have had a similar issue on my gigabyte motherboard. I tried to enable above 4G decoding and resizable bar support with my 5700XT and it wouldn't go into the BIOS again until I installed a different card and turned those settings off again. I don't know if this will solve your problem, but figured it was worth adding.

So basically, I try to start the oculus software and what happens is when I plug my oculus quest 2 in, the app gives me a spinning wheel indefinitely. It recently started doing this for whatever reason. I have tried to revo uninstall it and then reinstall to no avail. I have changed no default settings within the installation. I have however got it to work on my PC when I installed it on my drive with the Windows 11 preview making me believe it is something to do with my Windows 10. I have 21H1 Pro Edition. I have attempted to look for solutions on the internet to no avail. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Sorry for the late reply, but rolling back the firmware sadly didn't work either which I found odd. I found that I can get a replacement for around 60 dollars though, so that shouldn't be too bad.

I have an LG HL-DT-ST-BD-RE WH14NS40 and I recently flashed some new firmware from 1.03 to 1.05. I'm on Windows 10 20H2. I got the firmware off of LG's site and the drive worked just fine. After a little while, I wanted to watch a movie, but now no discs work in the drive. It is detected and shows as working just fine, eject and everything works too, but no discs can be read. Any help would be appreciated.

I agree with MartinKweh, but would like to add that it could maybe be that your drivers are buggy. Maybe try to reinstall drivers, downclock your GPU, or increase your GPU power limit maybe? Maybe reduce your memory timings or increase voltage a little if possible. Hopefully this is of help.

I recently picked up an HP DL385 G1. It's got dual Opteron 285s, 4GB of ECC DDR 400MHz, and an FX5200. It's running Windows Server 2003 R2 32 bit. I am running blender 2.76. I was trying to compare performance to my main PC by rendering the fishy cat demo. I have tried making sure I have enough RAM, which seems to be the case, but yet it still crashes when building the BVH. The window just goes away with no error message. Hopefully you all can help.

Could be that the temperature is varying wildly or that the fan curve is set too steep. Hope this helps, not sure what else you might do.

Probably won't sell the card as I find it very interesting, but yeah, might get a new gpu for the system. Might not get a super expensive one, perhaps fermi or kepler since I won't really be using this system for anything but folding 24/7. I've got my main pc for the main uses. My main PC is the main ppd contributor anyways.

Hmm, the page seems to have changed since last night as it said that I could use fahcore15 to fold on 8000 series and up with special client setup. Oh well. I may look into getting a newer gpu to put in the system.
-
I have been trying to get the GTX 295 in one of my systems to fold, but have not been able to find info on how to configure the client to use it. It simply says no GPU found. All drivers are installed. I am running version 7.51 on Windows 7 Pro. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cannot get Geforce control panel to open no matter what
RRSniper replied to RRSniper's topic in Graphics Cards
Fixed finally after running DDU twice and using only the driver for install and not Geforce Experience to get the driver. -

It is still refusing to show up after DDU and reinstall of drivers. The control panel folder isn't even in the Nvidia Corporation folder anymore -

I have tried this but will try again just to make sure. Also, forgot to mention that i have also tried rolling back with windows to 418.81.
