I was wondering if you guys have any suggestion for a use for a WatchGuard X5 series firewall. I flashed the bios and installed OPNsense on it, but I already have untangled running on another server. The WatchGuard has 2 GB DDR2 1 core CPU clocked at ~2 GHz and a 360 GB HDD. I upgraded the ram from 1 GB to 2 GB and I added the HDD both of which were just lying around. I'm starting to get into networking, I have my own firewall and NextCloud server, but someone sent me this firewall and I really don't know what to do with it. I mean I was thinking I could run something like a Cpanel on it, but I have another server for that. I mean the hardware is very weak so I don't know what good use it will have. One nice thing to know is that it has 7 Ethernet ports built in. One other issue is that it only has a serial interface for communicating directly with the unit so I can't run any OS that has GUI interface.
