  1. I have no clue where to find this pin connector. I am planning on building a completely custom PC but I need to find what this connector is called so I can search it up and purchase it. I am getting a power button very similar to this one. Can someone please help me out?
  2. I have an eMachine E202HL 20 inch monitor, i got it for free as a second monitor, don't judge. I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible or how to change the led on the power button. It is green if the monitor is on and orange if it has no signal. If the monitor is off, obviously, the led is off. My entire PC has a red and black color scheme, and this green led is sticking out like a sore thumb. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
  3. i'll try it, thanks man
  4. When I play pubg, and only pubg, my mouse seems to get stuck during some games. This does not happen every game, only occasionally. I am not exactly sure how to describe it but my mouse movement gets very choppy. When I want to turn around, I drag my mouse over and over and I either barely move or do not move at all. I have the Razer Death Adder chroma, dpi is at 600 and polling rate is at 500 hz. I can try and describe it more if you guys need but I don't know what is even going on. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
  5. Yes I tried other ram and same result. I'm going to go to my friends house tomorrow and see if his 4690k works. Thank you so much for all of your help, I really appreciate it.
  6. @Anghammarad I tried my brothers power supply and it's the same story, same error code
  7. Alright, let me try his and I'll post back as soon as I try it. Thank you for all your help!
  8. It could be the psu, I'll try to use my brothers and see if it works. I don't know how I would've fried something as there were no power surges or outages recently.
  9. Everything was working completely fine a couple days ago when I was watching a YouTube video. Suddenly my computer black screened and I haven't been able to get it to post since. I got the new ram set yesterday, no luck. And I just got the motherboard today, thinking that was the issue, and still the same result. No post. Also so I bought the CPU/my old motherboard brand new a couple winters ago.
  10. I apologize, I probably should've said this earlier but the board isn't brand new. My buddy bought it about a month ago, and then upgraded to Kaby Lake. It was working perfectly for him and he sold it to me for cheap earlier today. That's why I'm thinking it must be the CPU that's the problem.
  11. I just tried the ram in my brothers pc so I know that works but I don't have a way of testing the motherboard. Is there any way it be the processor?
  12. To make a long story short my computer wouldn't post. I just bought brand new ram and a new motherboard and am still having the same problem. I have an i7-4790k, 16gb 1600mhz corsair vengeance LP (brand new), and asrock z97 fatality pro (brand new). I'm getting post code 55, which the manual says, 'The memory could not be detected'. I don't understand how that is possible because it's a new motherboard and a new set of ram. I tried putting the sticks of ram in by themselves and in each dimm slot but no luck. Could someone try and help me out please?
  13. Damn hahaha, alright i'll just get the motherboard. Thank you so much for all your help!
  14. Correct, I haven't done any overclocking, and that is what i was planning on doing. I have another question, how long do you think it will be before i have to upgrade my cpu/motherboard/ram to the next generation? If i might have to upgrade it next year then i would just do it all now.
