Thanks for your help. I installed the new motherboard last night and it booted into the UEFI. But then when I went to go setup RAID 1 it didn't detect my drives. I tried using different SATA cables but that didn't work. Anyone know what could be going on?

I ordered a new motherboard that was for 7th gen Intel cpus with 1 day shipping so I will get back to you guys tomorrow when I get it installed.

So I tried plugging it into a tv with an HDMI cable I haven't used before using integrated graphics and no luck. I am probably still in the return window to return my processor or motherboard back to Amazon and get either an older processor or an up to date motherboard. Is that what I should do?

Hi, I just completed my first build and was excited to turn it on for the first time. When I pressed the power button all the lights and fans would turn on as normal but I wouldn't get any output to my monitor. When I plugged in the DVI cable my monitor turned on for a second but then it said "No input" and went into power saving mode. I tried different cables, both my video card and integrated graphics, and tried a half dozen online tutorials. EDIT: Now that I can get to the UEFI screen I don't see any hard drives showing up. I want to setup Raid 1 and I haven't installed Windows yet. I tried changing out the SATA cables but no luck, and I can feel that they are physically spinning.
