  1. Hello, today I bought the card ($130) from the 2016 original owner (very nice dude). According to the seller this card still has the original thermal paste and thermal pads. At 28 °C ambient the card idles at 50 °C - Hot Spot 58 °C - Fan Speed 24% At 28 °C ambient in FurMark after 15 min. the temp. normalized at 75 °C - Hot Spot 80 °C - Fan Speed 60% According to this picture provided by global.aorus.com the card should have two thermal pads between the PCB and the backplate which mine does not. According to this picture from linustechtips.com I need 2 mm and 0.5 mm pads. I want to replace both the paste (Noctua NT-H2) and thermal pads (Gelid Ultimate), my questions are: Is there a problem if I don't put thermal pads between the PCB and the backplate? Anyone who did this already(with the exact same card rev 1.0) can confirm that the thicknesses in the second picture are correct? And could give me the actual thermal pads sizes? Note: I know Gelid maybe are overkill for this board, but that's why I buy them. I now the card is not that hot but I still wanna do this for the fun and I wanna do it right so that's the whole purpose of this thread + the linustechtips post is the only post I could find on the internet with 1060 G1 Gaming thermal pads info.
  2. So 72 DPI isn't gonna do the job... I gotta remake them to 300 dpi.
  3. I did what you jut said. The ideea si that Photoshop when you create a new project you can insert in centimeters the parameters, but after you press ok and the worksheet is created, it automatically convert it to pixels. I want to know if those pixels are enough for my dimensions in centimeters (80 cm x 167 cm). Thanks.
  4. Hello guys, I have to do a 80x167 (centimeters) image that will be printed and apllied on a shop window. The thing is, I inserted the centimeters in Photoshop and it automatically converted to pixels (4734 x 2268). What I would like you guys to help me with is: 1) Is this resolution enough so it won't look pixelated? 2) I tried to figure it out as DPI how much is it, and I think it's 72 DPI, is this ok for a picture that size to be printed in this resolution? Thanks alot guys, I don't have experience with this, I have to send the project to a company so they will print it. Thanks again.
  5. Maybe the USB extension that I bought was bad. I mean I payed like $3 for it. Maybe I can buy Jack extensions for the 3 Audio jacks that comes out of the Z5500 console (Line in, Mic in and Headphones). Thanks alot buddy.
  6. Hello! I have a little problem: At work I have a PS4 Pro, a Z5500 from Logitech and a Creative Labs Sound Blaster external sound card! I plug those 3 jacks from my Z5500 into the sound card, then I plug the usb (mini USB - USB) cable from the sound card (mini USB) to the PS4 Pro (USB) header. Everything works, no problem! Now, I moved the Z5500 further away from the PS4 Pro and is the only way I can leave them in that space. I bought an USB cable extension (2.0) 4.5 m long. I know that USB 2.0 maximum length (to use without problems) is 5 m. The sound card doesn't turn on with that extension. My guess is that beeing that long and the sound card itself gets power through that USB maybe that's the real problem, idk. I really appreciate you're time! Give me a solution to his besides an USB repeater or idk. Thanks alot. And sorry for my english, I'm not a native speaker!
  7. With 360 and 240 you ain't gonna run into any problem... I think I will with a 280... This is a pic of a 240 rad into the R6
  8. I want to have 2 140mm fans in the front, the 280rad on top and 1 exhaust so I can have a nice airflow in my case.
  9. Dude, I'm not stupid, I know the specs. I know what everybody says. Even my Define C can fit a 280 rad on top, but obviously I can't couse of the thermal armour! Did you read the entire post? lmfao...
  10. Hello everyone! I know it's a new release and most of the people didn't have the chance to actually see and test the case, but I was wondering if I can fit a 280mm rad on top in the Definre R6 case. I have a Asus TUF Mark I Z270 board and Dominator Platinums from Corsair. Currently I have a Define C and I'm very pleased with it, the thing is that I can't fit my H115i rad on top (280mm) couse it hits the thermal armour on my motherboard. I watched alot of reviews and I took measurements but I'm still not sure if I can fit that rad. Does anyone have any ideea? Thanks in advance.
  11. I can't game on speakers, especially to chat with other players that way. That's why I NEED a headset untill I'll grab the SHURE SM7B and a REAL pair of headphones.
  12. I'm going to buy the Zx. The problem is that I don't know what headset to buy. I was thinking about the Man O' War from Razer, or G633 from Logitech. But I think I'm going to wait a bit keep the money and buy later the Audio Technica ATH-ADG1x.
  13. Thanks alot for the nice reply. I'm considering Razer Man 'O War to buy too. And I think I'm going to buy the Zx. Thanks alot. Edit: The Z and the Zx have NSR 116 db, the ZxR have 124 db. Would this difference really be a problem, I mean I just don't want that background noise.
  14. I use Razer Kraken Pro v2. They use jacks boy.
  15. Hello guys, I need some help to make a decision! I want to buy an internal sound card for my rig, the problem is that I can't decide between those three: 1) Asus Xonar Phoebus | Link to Amazon 2) Asus Xonar Essence STX | Link to NewEgg 3) Creative Sound Blaster ZxR | Link to NewEgg My second Question is: If I choose the Creative Sound Blaster ZxR which is 5.1, my headphones are 7.1! Would my headphones still be 7.1? Sorry for my bad english, thanks in advance!
