  1. I came across it on a page on TomsHardware. That's why I was extremely confused, hoping someone else had some clarification on the subject because the read/write speeds are a significant difference, I don't see why it would be worse. (Sorry for phone screenshot BTW, at work).
  2. I'm building a PC and recently came across a thread stating using a NVMe M.2 SSD for booting isn't recommended and would be much slower than a normal SSD. I planned on using a 512GB Samsung 960 Pro NVMe M.2, would it be better to just use a Samsung 850 Pro SSD? Thank you in advanced!
  3. Later this year I plan on building my very first gaming PC ($2600 build) and want to purchase the components separately over time until I occumulate the complete build. (Saving the graphics card and CPU for last to be safe in case of DOA) but how common is it to receive a piece that's DOA because the DOA warranty's 30 days and I plan on on buying them over a 3 month span or so. Also, I only plan on ordering from NewEgg and Amazon unless there's a good deal on another reputable site. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
