  1. Sadly I found a fix that is not the most efficient but it works for me. I created a new user on my windows machine which the search functionality works again like normal. Have not found a better way to fix this issue.
  2. Ít has nothing to do with cortana(have disabled her(I Guess)) the general search which I mentioned before is not working properly.
  3. Me neither, it's the windows search bar. It's been arround since Windows Vista.
  4. @MadModder thats not exactly thw way I like to use a computer/laptop. The way I want to use it is to seach it in the search bar and let the device find it for me. Because I'm lazy.
  5. When I search in my taskbar for programs to open("Say for example VMWare workstationc44b14bf7ef770281cf2bf8b6dd1565b.mp4"). It wont show the program that I'm looking for, only files with similar names. To hopefully speeds things up a bit, I've tried this solution that I find: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-win_cortana/cortana-not-finding-desktop-apps-when-searching/f612e995-6664-4b91-b6ae-96790e763858. The device in question is a Dell XPS 13 9360. I made a video an attached it.
