  1. Yep I got that issue sorted out. ‘‘Twas indeed the chord connecting the PSU.
  2. Yeah it took quite the struggle to align the mobo right and also get the metal guard in place. Had to re arrange the mobo 2-3 times and yet it isn’t properly aligned. Have to clue what I’m doing wrong tho.
  3. @mariushm and @jonnyGURU One last doubt tho, i also have been having a doubt about my IO shield ever since i put my PC together. Could that lead to any further problems ? Take a look guys.... it is a little tilted towards the left.
  4. @mariushm and @jonnyGURU Much appreciated comment guys! Turns out it was the grounding issue. The zapping sensation went away back when i changed the chord from a 2 pronged to a 3 pronged chord.
  5. Thank you, Worked out well after that.
  6. Well it isn't the PSU thats for sure, cus its a seasonic GOLD series. All though, you and @mariushm could be right about the grounding issue. I think its because PSU is connected to the 3 pronged power outlet via a 2 pronged chord. ( Without a ground pin )
  7. I specifically give preference to do that when i build a computer . So yeah.
  8. I am Starting to think was the problem, cus i had a 3 Pronged outlet and a 2 pronged chord that connects my PSU.
  9. My PSU is a seasonic Gold series. So i figure that isn't the issue. Although, i have a 3 pronged outlet but my chord is 2 pronged. Could that be a problem ?
  10. No but there is one issue tho, I think its PC case build type but the USB slots are slightly titled than the USB slots from the MOBO.
  11. Yeah i made sure of that after i read this, looks like everything is in the right place.
  12. well, that just solved all my problems. I didn't consider the fact that it would re map the faulty sectors. Totally gave me some peace of mind. Thank You.
  13. Ah yes, i did try to do that. It "tried" to scan and repair, for about 24 hours and then told me to replace the HDD.
  14. lol, no magic i know. But just wanted to know if it would damage my new HDD some how...
