  1. Hi all, I did a Windows clean install and after installing AMD chipset drivers I saw the weird process wasnt in the startup apps, so I proceeded to install NVIDIA drivers and now its fine, the CPU is marking 210mhz and memory 405mhz in idle, using 15 wats and 40ºC temperatures!! I think it was an AMD GPU drivers residual process doing weird things. Thank you all for the support.
  2. These are my startups apps: I have that AMDRSServ that could be residual from drivers unistalling but not sure if it is from chipset drivers. Not using RTX Voice neither Broadcast
  3. It seems the GPU clock its fixed at 1710mhz, I cannot get lower even booting the PC without open any application. I installed the GPU deleting AMD drivers previously, I didn't reinstall Windows, maybe I need to do a clean install... Yes, but also tried using one monitor.
  4. So that consumption is not real? You only can measure the real one with a voltage meter?
  5. I was watching it in HW Monitor. The GPU power usage is at 28%, that is 90W of 320W. I Thought it was wallpaper engine, but even uninstalling it, still the 90W consumption. The GPU usage is 0-1%. Maybe the reads are wrong, who knows. I remember when zen1 released, the cpus marked 20º above the real temperature and bios update fixed it.
  6. Hi, I come from Vega 64, which in idle, the base consumption was 15W and 42ºC. Now, with 3080 FE I have been watching the temperatures in idle after playing stays on 55ish ºC, and I noticed the base consumption is 90W always. Is it normal? I know Ampere it is not too efficient, but is it necessary 90W to work in idle? That could be any hardware or drivers issue? Can someone check his 3080 FE consumption in idle? Thank you, Regards.
  7. Hello, I'm having weird flickering issues with my new monitor. While I'm on an unique desktop, I get the annoying flickering when moving windows, minimize and maximize. This problem dissappears when I'm playing games or pluging a second monitor on extended mode. Monitor: CF791 using Display Port SO: Windows 10 Pro GPU: 280X Installed monitor drivers, reinstalled GPU drivers, HDMI tested, both 60hz-100hz frequency tested... but still flickering. Any ideas about how to solve that issue? Regards.
  8. Hi! I am deciding on what of these monitors to choose. 1) It will be for 75% games, 20% movies, 5% whatever 2) I will buy top Strix Vega card to OC. (so maybe Samsung monitor it will not tearing too much? Samsung is known about bad Freesync implementations with their weird Hz ranges) 3) I like colors, stunning colors! (What panel is better? LG or Samsung?) http://www.displayspecifications.com/en/comparison/2e1671bc
  9. This is the monitor page: http://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monitors/gaming/27--chg70-gaming-monitor-with-quantum-dot-lc27hg70qqnxza/ - VA panel - 1800 curvature - 300cd/m2 brightness - 2400:1 contrast - 1ms response - 178º viewing angle - 120% sRGB Coverage - 1.07B colors - Freesync 2 It looks pretty good, but Samsung is most of time marketing and dont know if these specs will be true. Also, I've never seen HDR with my own eyes, so no idea if this monitor will have a good HDR.
  10. Hello everyone,I am upgrading completely my gaming station to a high-end setup. Now I am thinking about the graphics card and the monitor, the two last things left.Considering:- I am almost decided to wait Vega cards and buy the top model, even a Strix to OC.- My current monitor is an 8 years ASUS VS228 1080p TFT-LCD panel, so yes, maybe I will get impressed by any recent monitor.- I sit at 60~70cm (25~27inch) from monitor- I really enjoy RPG, adventures and action games.Common resolutions and refresh rates I'm seeing and questions:- 27" 2560x1440 144hz (best for action and FPS games due to high refresh rate?)- 34" 3440x1440 75hz Curved (ultrawide, inmersive, balanced resolution and refresh rate?)- 4K UHD 60hz (best sharpness but maybe, discard for games to avoid performance problems and low refresh rate?)Monitors I have seen:Samsung CHG70 27" (http://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monitors/gaming/27-...)- 27" 2560x1440 144hz, curved, FreeSync 2- Most people I read have bad experience with Samsung Freesync implementation- Freesync 2, but is it the moment for HDR? people say this monitor has only 8 dimming zones and it is needed 100 dimming zones minimum for HDR (don't understand what is this)LG-34UC98-W (http://www.lg.com/es/monitores/lg-34UC98-W)- 34" 3440x1440 75hz,curved, FreeSync- People talk very good about this monitor- Not Freesync 2, but again, is it worth HDR at this moment?- Is it comfortable around 26inch from monitor?Other recomendations are welcomed.Regards.
