  1. 550W ASUS ROG STRIX. It's A tier on the PSU list I think. I check my temperatures and they aren't very high, so idk.
  2. I haven't tried that yet recently, but I think I did it before and it didn't help. I'll try it now anyways. The only other person I know of this happening to also has an AMD gpu, so I was thinking maybe it has something to do with that.
  3. On minecraft, and minecraft only, my computer does weird stuff all the time. My computer has no issues on any game, except with minecraft, where at seemingly random times my computer will do weird things, such as: - Minecraft screen turning all different sorts of colors like green, purple, blue, etc, and then an Alt F4 closes it. - Minecraft tab just simply closing. - Entire computer just turning to a black screen and then restarting. - All my tabs and applications just closing etc I have an RX 6650 XT MSI MECH 2x and a Ryzen 5 5600. I've tried turning off SAM and disabling Windows Defender, but that didn't help at all. I've also reset my graphics drivers with DDU a couple times and that didn't help. Whenever my computer completely crashes, it says this in AMD software when I reboot: I'm not sure what this means though, I never change any of the performance tuning settings. As I've said, I've never had any issues in other games, like OW 2, Valorant, Warzone, etc. Only this dumb cube game. Any help is greatly appreciated!
  4. I never use to have to reboot router after doing this, it just worked whenever I changed MAC address. I tried yesterday rebooting router & modem and it did not work
  5. hey so I was doing this thing to change my IP by changing the mac address on my netgear router, which causes the ISP to give you a new IP. I do it pretty often and now it stopped working. Anyone know why? Obviously this is kind of vague just wondering if anyone might know why it doesnt work anymore ask for more info
  6. Do you know of any website or store to buy batteries for specific laptop models?
  7. Tried this, didn't work, though it makes sense. Any other ideas?
  8. Hello! My old (around 5 years) Gaming Laptop's battery recently broke. I honestly do not care that much, because though this means I cannot use it for its portability, I have no used it for that in years, and instead use it as a desktop with an external monitor and keyboard to play games on. However, after the battery has broken, my FPS, even while plugged in (since it's plugged in it shouldn't matter, right?) has dropped around 40%, and the game I play (Valorant) is extremely choppy, as opposed to being smooth as it used to be. Since I'm plugged in, even though the battery is broken and doesn't hold a charge, it should feel smooth, correct? If you know of anything that could fix this, please let me know. I have already tried editing my Power Plan to have max CPU performance set to 99%, to stop "turboboost", but that hasn't helped. While playing a game with Task Manager Performance on my side monitor, GPU was at around 20%, and CPU at 50%. I do not know anything about computers. Is this low or normal? My laptop is called Gigabyte P55W V6. Specs: GTX 1060 6GB i7-6700HQ 3.5 GHz 16 GB ram
  9. I checked my PC Performance in Task Manager, and mid game: GPU at 20%, CPU at 50%
  10. My gaming laptop is called Gigabyte PW55 V6, w/ a GTX 1060 6GB

  12. Title. Really confused. Discord is stuck in "Checking for updates" for all eternity, while other games just give me an error message and disconnect me (For example, when trying to join a Minecraft server, it says: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: no further information:". Whenever I connect to a new Wi-Fi network, all these errors are fixed (such as my hotspot). Again, I can look up stuff on google or access gmail.
