  1. It doesn't shut down... It powers off completely. I've tried checking event viewer. So, I tried my other 1080 and its still doing it, so I'm assuming its the PSU.
  2. So, I just booted up and was able to do a CPU Stress test fine, I then opened a game and played for like 3 mins and it crashed. Going to try and do a longer CPU stress test now and see if its the PSU. Edit: I was just able to run a CPU Stress test for 5 mins without it crashing. So I don't think its the PSU. Going to try my other 1080 tomorrow.
  3. One of the only things I don't have, is there a way to check? Just a little bit more information when it happens it doesn't turn straight on. I need to turn it off at the back for like 10 seconds then turn it back on to power it on again. I just tried to do the CPU Stress test and it crashed when loading windows again.
  4. Just tried updating my drivers and it got to the point where the screen blanks out and it blanked out and then the computers power cut out again... So in the morning I'm going to try my other 1080 graphics card and see if that works. No lights show, it just powers out completely. I'll try a CPU stress test and see. Also the OS was installed 2 weeks ago and not been touched since. I'm going to try my other 1080 in the morning, if that doesn't work then I'll try reinstalling drivers fresh.
  5. Crashed as soon as I opened WoW this time.
  6. I've tried WoW and that seems to survive longer. I'll boot it up now and see how long wow lasts.
  7. So, I just tested and I was about to keep the computer on for 10 mins and then as soon as I loaded CS it crashed again... So I think its something with the graphics card...
  8. AMD Ryzen 1700x running at 3.77Ghz Kraken X62 MSI Nvidia 1080 Asus prime X370 PRO 8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX x 2 Corsair RMx 750W
  9. So, I built a new computer 2 weeks ago and its been working fine. However tonight its just cutting power off and it wont let me start it up again until I unplug it and plug it back in again. So, let me just say what's happened so far. Loaded up CSGO, power out. Unplug, loads up fine, open CSGO and it power outs, I then load it up again and it crashes just cas windows loads up. I restart it again and everything seems fine and I start playing WoW for 5 mins then power out. Now I'm not sure what to do or what it is. I checked temps and its not overheating, CPU is sitting at 50C, GPU is sitting at around 50C. Could anyone give advice?
  10. I did a userbenchmark and it shows up there and it also shows up like that in Ryzen Master. Okay will do, I've turned the computer off now so I'll have to do that tomorrow
  11. So I just built my first computer and it works! I'm really happy with it. I am just having a few issues though and was wondering if someone could help. So, first issue is with my Ryzen 7 1700x CPU. In Ryzen master it shows its running at about 20C and in my AIO software it shows its running at 40C. Its putting it up to about 20C. I've heard this issue a lot and was wondering if there is a way to fix it yet? Second issue is that I have Corsair Vengence LPX DD4R Ram, 16GB, 3200MHz but its only running at 1300MHz... I'm not 100% sure why... Third issue is that my graphic card fans(MSI GeForce GTX 1080 ARMOR OC) aren't running. I've read online that they only come on when its at 60C and I haven't played anything yet, so if someone could confirm that for me that would be great :). I've tried looking online for theses issues but the ram issue and graphics card issue I can't find anything recently and for the Ryzen issue I can't find anything. So would love some help
  12. Aw that sucks, what nice looking case would you suggest with good airflow?
  13. That helps a lot, thank you. Yeah I want it to look nice, gotta put RGBs on everything right? Also what motherboard would you suggest? I want one that supports SLI and its the cheapest one I could find.
  14. Oh yeah shit haha, I forgot to say I already have an ssd ready for it haha.
  15. So, a little back story. I want a second PC so I can have my HTC Vive in another room. So I am going to build a new pc, so I thought I might upgrade my main PC and then use my current PC as my VR PC. I have looked into a build and I just want someone to check over it and tell me if I'm missing anything or if I can improve it slightly for the price. This is my first time building a PC myself. My current computer isn't a pre-built computer, its a computer built by a company. The build is here: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/tscXQV I will be putting my current Nvidia 1080 card in this computer and then the new 1070 in my old computer for VR. I have picked the Ryzen 7 because this computer won't only be for gaming. I am right by saying a 1070 will be fast enough for VR? I want it for Fallout VR and such games when they come out. Also, would a 750W power supply be okay if I were to SLI bridge another 1080 in the future? Thanks
