  1. WAIT FOR THE NEW LINEUP OF GRAPHICS CARD FROM NVIDIA COMING OUT THIS MONTH
  2. Well, yes the prices for the "2080" and "2070" are rumored to be higher than typical, but we are not sure yet.
  3. awesome. New Nvidia graphics cards are coming out later this month and some others following it.
  4. I made a post about this a while ago, and it ruled out the possibility of my Ryzen 5 1600 bottlnecking my GTX 1070 Ti. So I have been noticing that my 1070 Ti is not pushing itself to the limit. I am a hardcore Overwatch player. And for some reason, compared to my old GTX 1070, which I broke not long ago in an attempt to install a waterblock, the 1070 Ti did not show the improvements in performance that I expected, especially when I pull down the graphics settings. And when I open Task Manager, it only showed 50-60% utilization. Even if I set the priority to High, it showed no difference. One possible answer is my 450 watt power supply from Corsair is not supplying enough power. And that I've actually considered. But could it be software based? Is there a problem with the game? Or could it be Windows messing with everything?
  5. I checked it for you. Yes, 3803 is the latest BIOS version which support all second gen Ryzen CPUs.
  6. Check Asus's support website. They should have a list of BIOS versions, one of them should say "support for Bristol Ridge, Summit Ridge" and others.
  7. if you can't replace the power supply or use another one, I recommend just getting a GTX 1050 Ti. My favorite personally is the Zotac Mini Variant. But if you can replace the power supply, I recommend not going over a GTX 1070 since the CPU is a bit old and at slower speeds.
  8. Since you're running GTA V, you would know that the game is demanding. I have a GTX 1070 Ti myself paired with a Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.8 GHz. I also see random frame drops in Overwatch, but that is most likely due to other apps I have running. It could be your power supply, if it's below 500 or so watts, then it could be your 8 core Ryzen sucking up energy when your 1070 Ti needs it. If you have other apps running, it could be that also.
  9. Wait for new Nvidia graphics card coming in the coming months. The "2080" should be released this month with the "2070" following it.
  10. Well, it depends on if you want support for newer features, such as HDR or new anti aliasing techniques. There's nothing wrong with getting the latest hardware. Although, if you are looking for a high end AMD card, it's gonna be difficult. I suggest waiting for new Nvidia cards rumored to be released in the coming weeks or so.
