  1. The CPU wasn't under load when I took the screenshot. I'll post another one tomorrow that shows it at full load.
  2. I don't think it's my GPU. Unless Speccy isn't telling me the right thing
  3. I'm using Speccy to monitor my hardware.
  4. I'm not actually sure. It's the stock cooler I used with my previous processor which was a Pentium g2030. It came in an OEM I got around five years ago.
  5. My i7 2600k that I'm running along with a GTX 1050 Ti can heat up to 60-70 degrees under load when playing games like rainbow six and PUBG. I play these on medium/high. The fan has reached speeds of 4,000 RPM recently after installing my new graphics card. I didn't have issues before with my CPU temp, but then again I wasn't running games on higher settings. Should I get a new CPU cooler or look into a new case? Or is everything normal and am I just worried over nothing.
  6. My i7 2600k paired with a 650 psu from Corsair runs at around 40 degrees Celsius while nothing is going on, which I know is fine. It jumps up to 60 degrees when I'm playing CS:GO, and I'm wondering if it will be okay to play games like battlefield 1 or rainbow six siege. Should I change my case for better air flow or get a new heatsink?
  7. Obviously an older type of board and not the latest type of ram, but does anyone know of any LGA1155 boards with DDR3 ram compatibility for under $100?
  8. I'm not familiar with bios compatability or any issues like that. I know the i7 i ordered had the similar socket type as the current pentium I have though. If it doesn't work out due to some other incompatibility with the motherboard, what manufacturer would sell a good replacement mobo?
  9. I'm pretty sure it's a lenevo OEM. I got it around five years ago when I was only twelve, but I know it was refurbished. Thanks for the motherboard recommendations, but I'm just wondering if I should trust a motherboard I got five or so years ago with new hardware in it.
  10. I was wondering if I should upgrade my motherboard. I've currently got a Pentium G2030 and a GT 1030 along with a 280 watt power supply. I'm going to upgrade to an I7 2600k and a 650 watt psu from corsair. I'd also like to upgrade my graphics card to a gtx 960, 770, or 780. I'm also using 8 gb of ddr3 ram. The name of my current motherboard is "LENOVO MAHOBAY (SOCKET 0)". When I search the name up, I don't really get any responses. Anyone have any input? I don't want to replace the parts and have everything short out or break.
  11. I recently restarted my computer and during the restart, windows automatically updated. I since have lost 20-30 fps in CS:GO, but there is no other notable decrease in performance in other games. I've made sure all of my drivers are up to date and running well. It seems to be an entirely CS:GO issue. Does anyone have any idea about what might be going on?
  12. I've currently got an MSI Nvidia GT 1030 and an old processor that's running my primary set up. I don't use it for much at all other than low end gaming on eSport titles which runs fine. I'm wondering if I would be able to set up another monitor for stuff like browsing and studying, because it would be extremely helpful. I know the Nvidia page on the GT 1030 says it can support multiple displays, but I'm only able to find one HDMI port on it and a DP socket. I currently have an older 1600x900 res DVI monitor that's linked to the video card using an HDMI to DVI converter. Would I be able to get another monitor to hook up to the card? If so, how should I go about doing it?
