Thanks, but setting the cpu maximum power state to 50% will reduce the performance of the laptop and I'll mostly be travelling, that's why I use a laptop for intensive tasks.

My laptop is power throttling when running on battery and thermal throttling when plugged in when rendering and playing games. Is there any fix for this? (The laptop is MSI GS65)

I wanted something thin and light that's why I went for XPS or GS65 and also I want something professional as I'll also be using it for work.

But it is twice the cost of GS65 here in India and I can't afford that much

I can repaste and undervolt. That's why I chose GS65 and XPS 15 (Aero 15 is very costly in india). But I'm confused as which one to buy from the 2 laptops

around 5 to 6 hrs. Any other suggestions are welcome around this price point

I need an all round laptop that's why I want a normal graphics and not a quadro
