My aero 15x is suddenly not working. I tried powering it on, but nothing is happening, it was just fine... About a year old. I'm from India, the laptop was bought from US, I don't have a warranty card.

why not an amd, I'm just curious -
wanting to buy a laptop for college. Spreadsheets, word documents, and presentation. I'm left with these CPU options. which is more suitable, an Intel CPU or an AMD APU. The laptops configured with an i3 are beyond my budget.

My new xps 15 9560, 256 gb nvme ssd, 8gb memory, i7700 hq is a slow startup time. the bios time time shown in the performance window of task-manager was 27s which reduced to 11.5 after a fress windows install, still its lagging. I have seen 3s in hp omen ..!!

I just purchased an xps 15, and found only two USB ports on the both sides of the laptop, I have an old external hard drive having 2usb (one for power and another for data I think) , even if I don't use a mouse I can't get my second USB to reach the other side.

Not exactly, I wanted know how it works, how some registered devices don't have a password prompt.

My college WiFi has passwords only in student's devices, the teacher can give an application, including gadget details, to the office and there after the Wi-Fi is open to their devices.

No.., card was dead already. It was unused for a couple f months,so figured every capacitor was discharged.

I did clean the card with a liquid lens cleaner.... Could I have short-circuited the motherboard

After plugging in this graphics card, I think it blew all the USB ports on the rear side. My mouse is not powering up.
