  1. So, I was able to use Ryzen master to OC up to 4.1 stable. For some reason I cannot apply that OC directly from the bios with useplatformclock set to false though. I don't get it **SHRUGS**...guess I'll mess around with some other bios settings and see what's up eventually. UPDATE: bios OC at 4.1 running stable by simply changing the multiplier. Basically, being lazy and applying their pre-made 4Ghz OC profile causes issues for some reason.
  2. I can run the system at 4.0 with useplatformclock set to true, but when trying to apply the fix setting it to false, it becomes wildly unstable, screen flashing black, programs going bonkers etc. Luckily I was able to change it and reboot. I did just try the fix at stock clock and it works. So I'm having the same issue as the other user on another thread. His OC was more modest than mine though.
  3. This makes windows boot much faster and programs are initially faster. HOWEVER, for me, 10 seconds after sign in everything gets horribly unstable. This method therefore doesn't work for me very well for some reason. I'm going to try it without the 4.0 GHz overclock profile and see if it works. Someone on another thread mentioned it was unstable for them on OC but worked at stock clock.
