Hi, i'm looking for help. I have set up a home server and today I aws swapping cooler on it, and had to install a new bracket, meaning that I had to remove the entire mobo. When I did I also of course removed all cabels from it. On it I have a ssd as a boot device and two 4 TB hard drives striped together in raid to create on single 8 TB drive. I plugged everthing in again and now that I have started up the computer again the raid partition doesnt show up. When I check disk manager I see nmy ssd and ALSO a single 8 TB drive, showing up as not inizialised, with no partition on it. Any help?

Found the problem. For some reason one of the cables fails during the process. Wierd but fixable.

I'm using an Evga 1060 6gb Oc, and I'm thingkimg of going with a corsair h115 aio cooler.

So, I'm looking to build a black and white themed pc using the s340 elite (white), with an asus z270p mobo and an i7 7700k, and I'm looking for a good cooler. I need something that will a) fit in the case b) fit the theme (or at least has changeable fans so I can switch to some black and white ones) and c) preferably allows me to overclock a bit. Any ideas?

Yeah, I mean that z270 board is what made me go for it.

The problem is that there are no sutch computers for sale at a resonable price, and even if there were, they'd be far worse preforming than this. And why ryzen? As far as i can tell you cant really get the same preformance to price out of that.

Yeah, that was what I thought, just wanting some others opinions on this. It seems like in most game benchmarks the 7700k is on par or even wins, exept for those games that that are extremly optimized for multi-core workloads.

I'm going to add in some old hard drives that i have lying around for some storage, and that'll do for the moment, but I'm also thinking of upgrading the CPU in the summer, and I'm wondering if I should go for the 7700k or the 8600k For reference, since I have a z270 board already, i would not be upgrading the mobo if i bought the 7700k. Buying the 8600k with a mobo and cooler would cost me something like 482 $, whilst buying the 7700k with just a cooler would cost me something like 388 $, any sugesstions?

Well, my thoughts was to first upgrade cup, as I'm only gaming on 1080p right now, and then buy both a monitor and a gpu later.
