My fps is fine, not experiencing any drops. I'm getting around 100 fps but it looks like I'm getting 40fps.

I have a 144hz monitor. I mean even tho I'm getting over 100 fps it looks like I'm getting 40 fps.

So I have been having this issue for a while now, but im sick of it and I can't seem to figure out what is wrong with my games. I get around 90-120 fps in most of my games but they feel as if im getting 45 fps. I have wiped windows and uninstalled and updated my drivers and it still happens. If anyone can help me figure out what is going on, I would be very grateful. Also all of my temps are fine.My PC:GTX 1070 i7 7700k16GB DDR4 2800mhz250GB SSDASROCK Z270 Motherboard750 Watt Power Supply

So it wont help with fixing my fps drops?

But could getting an ssd fix it?

It said there was no problems found after I scanned it

So the only way to fix a corrupt hdd is to get a new one or get an ssd?

There might be a compatability issue with my mobo and cpu that could cause fps drops maybe?

I have reset it multiple times.

well I swapped my gpu with another old one I had and I was still getting fps drops, so that means it is most likely my cpu causing my fps drops?

Ok well I can download h1z1 tonight and see what happens on that game. Until now though, Continue this tomorrow? and Thanks
