  1. While the h100i v2 fans do somewhat work okay, I would much rather manually control the fans to ensure proper cooling with the Corsair LINK program. But there are no other USB internal headers on my z170m MORTAR MSI motherboard other than the one for front panel USB. What do you recommend I do to plug the cooler into USB?
  2. About 15 in it looks like and still going. When should I call it quits and wipe everything .... lol
  3. I just updated my motherboard to a more expensive one. No error led or anything and it boots perfectly. BIOS and boot menu works. But it has been at that Windows 10 loading spinner for a while now. Do I need to completely reinstall Windows 10 or does it take 10+ minutes on first booting into Windows with new motherboard and same SSD/HDD? EDIT: Been running for about half an hour now and still loading screen .... The picture is the screen I am at and have been at with the thing spinning (you know what I mean)
  4. PC PartPicker can't verify if the Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing cooler will fit with the Rosewill - Stryker M ATX Mid Tower Case. Can someone help verify this for me on if the cooler will fit? Thanks.
  5. Thanks! You likely saved me some time of changing thermal paste, I am convinced to use stock paste on this cooler.
  6. Look at the picture - the screw is in the mobo hole with some other screw? I have tried to get this out but have no clue what it is. I think it came from the screws that came with the case but everything looks fine on the case. I honestly can't get it out and am not sure how to. I can't install without taking the screw out (it angles the mobo up on the case since the screw goes down further and makes it uneven). How on earth do I get this off? (PS - pretty sure it's two screws stuck together).
  7. I am buying a Corsair H100I V2 to cool my i7 6700K. I have thermal paste remover from Arctic and microfiber cloths, along with other better thermal compound. I have heard that pre applied thermal paste is not that good at all (dangerous CPU temps, shorter CPU life), so I plan to remove the pre applied paste on this cooler and replace with my own. Is the pre applied removed normally just like any other thermal paste (with my arctic remover)? Or am I wrong about pre applied paste being worse and just leave it there? And also, whenever I remove the cooler for a quick upgrade or mobo change/CPU change (which might be soon, as in weeks or a month), will I need to re apply the thermal paste even though it is freshly on?
