  1. Hi all, Just looking for some advice on the best brand to buy some GPU thermal pads, if you have any suggestions or amazon links (I am UK based) that would be much appreciated. I've already looked at some Thermal Grizzly stuff but wanted to know if there is any other alternatives.
  2. Hi all, I have a 6700K, Gigabyte G1 Gaming 1070, 16GB HyperX RAM and a Gigabyte K3 Gaming Motherboard. I am having issues running games, every so often my system freezes up for a split second. This happens on any and all games and it is really frustrating. My friends have the exact same build as me but they never get any issues the only difference they have is coolers and SSD differences. At first I thought it was the CPU maxxing out so i upgraded from a 6600k to a 6700k but the issue still persists. All drivers are up to date. I am running 3 screens and my friends are running 2 and 1. I have disconnected the 3rd monitor so I am only running 2 but the issue still persists. Please could you help I have been trying to fix this issue since I completed the build.
  3. Hi All, I'm looking for some advice, I am looking at getting a new PSU sometime soon but I dont want to break the bank but I also don't want to cheap out, I currently have a CX500M and it has served me well. But now I am looking for something with a better rated efficiency with nice cabling (the cabling is not a big deal as I will be getting some CableMod cables soon) and recommendations. PC Specs :- Intel Core i7 6700K (Oced to 4.6ghz) G1 Gaming GTX 1070 (Oced to 2ghz) Gigabyte Z170 Gaming K3 Motherboard 16gb Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB Kingston HyperX SSD 250GB Sandisk SSD 1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD I am really looking at also getting a new PSU because I want my PC to look nice inside, so I can properly cable manage.
  4. I can't run those sort of tests at the moment as I am not at my house, but we've ran them before and the processes essentially use the right amount of resources. We've even roll backed his windows to see if that was causing an issue as the build worked fine for a couple of weeks.
  5. This is the thing, bf1 utilizes my cpu a lot but I don't get frame drops he does. Whenever his cpu maxes his games freeze and drop frames.
  6. I Games like bf1, league of legends, pubg, overwatch, runescape. We play the exact same games at 1080p. I have no problems but he does.
  7. Hi all, My friend has built a pc the specs are 6600k Gtx 1070 16gb hyperx fury ram and a gigabyte z170 gaming 3 motherboard, since the build he has been having his cpu max out on games. He then upgraded to a 6700k and the issue still persists the reason he upgraded to that cpu is because that then makes his build identical to mine. My build runs all games perfectly fine. The only difference in setup is that he is running 3 monitors and I'm running 2 and he has AIO liquid cooler and I have a noctua cpu cooler. We have the exact same ram, motherboard, gpu and now cpu. I built the both PCs myself. So I am looking for any advice or help as to why his is maxing out. We have checked Temps and also taken off the overclock and turned xmp off/on. We also fixed a memory leak which I thought may of been the issue. Please would you be able to help as I feel really bad for convincing him to upgrade his pc and now to not have it work aswell as his old one.
