It's the rear jack. I just got Realtek installed *derp* it's seems to be working now, as far as I can see in the sound settings. When I tapped on the mic it showed the level of sound. I'm just terrified to put my headset on because I got sick a few days ago and now I think I have an ear infection ? You guys are awesome thanks for the help

I wanna say Realtek but I'll have to look when I get home from work. I was so tired yesterday and so excited to have it completed I may have just overlooked that.

Hey everyone! ?️? I just completed my first build and it was so much fun doing it! Everything is working except for my microphone however I do have audio, so that's what's bugging me. I installed windows 10 but I didn't activate it but I have a key from my old pc. I got it all running and my machine is running stable, But I don't think that would stop me from being able to use the mic. Maybe I'm missing a driver and I'm over thinking it. My specs are : i7 8700k, NZXT Kraken x62 AIO, ASRock z390 Taichi Ultimate motherboard, Gigabyte RTX 2080, 32gb DDR4 Corsair vengeance 3200 megahertz, 2 Samsung 970 Evo m.2 nvme 500 gig stick and one 1 terabyte stick, EVGA 750w 80 + Platinum PSU fully modular. Any help would most excellent! Thank you!
