Hello, For the past few days I've been experiencing the game (Valorant) dropping in fps and my audio cutting out. When I stand still it'll only happen a couple of times a minute but if I introduce fast movement, my audio will cut out for the duration of the fast movement. The audio will cut out for other applications like discord or chrome as well. When I monitor my hardware using HWinfo, I see the temps at normal temps as always, but the CPU clock will jump up and the GPU clock will jump up as well. I've updated all my drivers, ran in administrator mode (was told to do that from websites), restarted pc, but it seems it didn't help. If anyone could help me figure this out, it'd be greatly appreciated and feel free to ask for more information as I probably forgot to list or look for something. yeah i returned it to the seller, however I got a Noctua L9x65 for $25 so thats a nice little deal, but it doesn't come with the am4 mount so I have to order a separate one.

Hey everyone, So I just got this Noctua NH-U9 TR4-SP3 second hand for $20, ik what a steal. But I can't figure out which AM4 mount to get due to it being meant for TR and it just came with the heatsink, 2 fans and with g34 mounts. I love how small it is compared to my old one, despite the hassle of the cable management. Also you're probably wondering about the side panel and why it's like that, well it gets a little toasty not that it over heats just gets warm so I'm keeping it open till my 4 noctua fans come in for better airflow. Overall it's just been better and more snappy than my old build so I love it!

Yes, I already OC my ryzen 2600 to 4.15 GHz and the temps are fine. Haven't thermal throttled once, and I've been using the stock cooler in a small case; the Cougar qbx. Also that's without the extra 4 fans i'm planning on buying. So temps is something I'm not worried about, I'm more worried about height clearance. The evo doesn't fit in the cougar either.

Anyone know of one thats not too expensive, around $35 for AM4.

Okay so I just bought the Ryzen 5 2600 (OC to 4.2 GHz) yesterday and installed it with my 1060 3gb and 16gb ram OC to 3000 MHz and I opened Premiere to finish an edit of mine, but playback seems to completely suck. And by suck I mean it'll play a couple of seconds and just stop playing the video but the audio would still be playing and some videos I would import would not load. I had an i5 6600k before that was OC to 4.0 GHz and playback was fine but sometimes would freeze. I figured the more core count would help but it doesn't seem so. I forgot I posted this and bought the 2600 and seems to have troubles in Premiere Pro even tho I got it to OC to 4.2. Should've bought the 3600. Big OOF

Hello, so im debating whether to buy the latest ryzen 5 ($199.99) or just buy the cheaper (with bundle on microcenter with a mobo $199) ryzen 5. Because if I overclock the 3600 to 4.2, wouldnt it give the same performance as the latest 3600?

I've never really gotten into AMD products but recently a lot of youtubers have been posting they "killed" intel or something like that. So I was looking into laptops and wondering if the Ryzen 5 2500U was good for production like video editing, photoshop, and lightroom. Especially since they're less expensive then the intel laptops.

Okay so when would type, click, scroll, etc. text boxes would move or images would go away, shown in the pictures. I don't know whether it's a graphics or software or even a virus issue. Can someone help me out with this? 1st picture I was scrolling and some of the images would disappear but if I kept scrolling it would comeback. It goes back and forth. The second picture is when I was typing this, the borders would shift randomly or the text box would. Help pls!

Okay, I'm building a new pc for video editing and gaming, since when I edit videos it starts to lag when I watch back and my gaming too. so I looked at LTT What CPU to Buy - Late 2018 and I didn't know whether to go with the 2600x for the little extra boost or just save a little on 2600. And for the mobo I found these; MSI - B450I GAMING PLUS AC Mini ITX AM4 Motherboard and the ASRock - X370 Gaming-ITX/ac Mini ITX AM4 Motherboard, where the b450 I save about $20 but with the x370 I get a better board? idk about motherboards tbh. So If anyone can help me with this it would be much appreciated! Edit: or are there new cpus coming out I should just wait for.

*Not sure if this is a double post, but might be* However something is wrong with my internet or computer or something, I don't know but it has been frustrating for the past 2 days. So I got home from school and the internet was slow af, (it was 30 down and 6 up, but its barely hitting 5 down and 1 up) and would disconnect ONLY on my pc; my phone was working just fine. So I tested my computer by going downstairs and and my wifi was working just fine, yes I use wifi for my pc. I tried ethernet too and it worked so my internet isn't the problem. So I figured since I'm upstairs from the router I would add another router to extend the wifi (it was just a router laying around). It kinda and didn't work, it was slow and it still occasionally wouldn't work and was EXTREMELY SLOW, but still able to look at emails and stuff like that. After I went to an open room upstairs closer to the router and it was working fine for like an hour, but only chrome isn't working now. It would just load and load and load like a buffer on youtube when your internet is slow but only wouldn't load. Like I can't even look at my gmail, but Microsoft edge works oddly enough. I just want to use chrome and figure out why internet is so slow. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!! and sorry for the long text. They are and I did some testing. Took my pc downstairs and didnt change cards or anything and it bumbed the download to 70mb and upload to 8mb and same with ethernet. I did this to make sure all my stuff works and it does, but i still dont know why it suddenly stopped working. I troubleshooted and it said windows couldnt connect to proxy. I looked it up on my phone and did every possible thing it said on multiple websites and it still didn't work. I hope any of this info helps to fix my problem. Thanks for the help! And also i added another router to extend the wifi connection, its faster but still not even hitting 10 mb down.
